Howdy firestorm. I have been on some of the other NJ threads, but they have died apparently.

I hope you were away doing something fun and exciting, and you will have to excuse me if you covered it earlier, I didn't get through all 95 pages of the thread yet

Well...there are a few of us on this thread who are determined not to let it die. We just had our first "official" NJ Thread Litogether last weekend...and all seemed to have a good time.

And no...I have been sick the past two days with a cold and fever, so I was sleeping. Wish I could tell you it was something more exciting!

I was really into myspace for a while...but it got old...and i got tired of getting all the viruses and BS that went on. Now if I could just cancel my account, I'd be happy.

WOW, a bona fide Litogether in NJ!!!! That's awesome. The other threads were always talking about doing one, but it never happened. glad to see there are soem hardcore NJ people that will keep this one going.

Myspace hasn't been too bad for me, but I generally don't accept any freind requests from people I don't know. I am hoping that my freinds wouldn't be peddling viruses, and the such, but if they do, I know where to get them

Q. How do I delete my account?



A. If you wish to permanently terminate your MySpace account, start by clicking "Home" in the top navigation menu from any MySpace web page. From your personal home page, click the "Account Settings" next to your default picture. From your "Change Account Settings" page, click the "Cancel Account" link, found just above the "My Account Settings". On the "Cancel My Account" page, click the "Cancel My Account" button. Check the email account that you used to create your account. Follow the instructions in that email to delete your account. Keep in mind, cancelling your MySpace account will PERMANENTLY REMOVE all of your profile information from MySpace, including your photographs, comments, blogs, and your personal network of friends. This information cannot be restored. You may re-register with your current email address after canceling, but you will need to rebuild your personal network from scratch.

i just cancelled my account on myspace (don't worry i didn't use it anyway) and it worked, i got the comfirmation email then cancelled it, the next time i tried to log in it didn't let me

LOL I just tried it and nothing. I don't get the confirmation email...and yes..I checked the email address...checked that it wasn't considered spam mail...I just don't get it lol

you could try going and changeing your email address on myspace so it goes to a diffrent email

Yep...did that...twice. lol

I spoke to other people who had the same problem. Can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months before it works. I just keep sending emails telling them how pissed I am...they may ignore it, but venting makes me feel better!!!!
