since my ex wife took off to washington state earlier this year there is no chance to see my kids for some time.
i saw my parents earlier this month and we decided to not do anything for the holidays. all 3 of us are estranged from my sister, and my brother is now in western montana. most family now no longer live in the same state and financial times we live in keeps all of us apart now.
i have been invited to various functions but politely decline because , for now, the holidays are painful because of not seeing my kids.
anybody else just don't do holidays anymore?
