Note: I saw a great video of Vermont citizens lining the sidewalks on both sides of the road going from the ski resort to the local airport, jeering the Vice President and waving signs the entire trip. I'll post it when I locate it again.

The protesters weren't jamming the roadways, throwing rotten tomatoes at Vance, no buildings were set on fire, no smeared feces on the walls of buildings and no hangmans' nooses displayed outside of the ski resort.

Just good old American protesters, massing on the sidewalks, waving placards and chanting.
