The closest records I can find is for 2022 where the total us military spending was 1.537 Trillion dollars. Some of that 62.9 Billion came from that spending. About 4% of your military expenditure,if we allot the full 69.2 billion to 2022.

In 2022. the Canadian Military spent 2.122 Billion, most of that went to Ukraine. So I would surmise that Canada spent around 90%of it's expenditures to Ukraine.

Canada, unlike the US has committed to continuing to support Ukraine militarily. Both in arms (4.5 billion and climbing) and in humanitarian aid 12.4 Billion.
So sit back,act smug about the US contribution, as the world rallies around Ukraine, and leaves the us behind as a relevant political force in the world.

Your figures show the US contributed about 12X more. Mine show 15X. You can argue that the US has a 7X larger GDP than Canada, but that doesn’t rationalize the 12X to 15X differential. Nor does it excuse Canada’s freeloading off its NATO partners.

As a percentage of our military, we've contributed way more than the percentage of your military....
On the percapita basis we've contributed more, than the us.

I’m very pleased with the progress the EU made over the weekend. They seem to be accepting the fact that guaranteeing security for Ukraine is primarily their responsibility. Hopefully they’ll follow through and increase spending for their self defense.

I'm thrilled to see the us falling away. It's been too many decades and too many fuck ups caused by the us projecting it's power around the globe, all for the gain of america.

Keep in mind, this was the same crybaby who went to Germany to arrogantly "lecture" them about free speech. Seems that Republicans can dish it out but cannot take it!
He's also a known liar, where was the secret service? He's scared of some protestor? He's a liar, Haitians came to rescue the economy in his state because the local people were basically too lazy and drugged up to do it. He put these workers in danger LYING about them eating pets. He's a piece of work and it stinks that he is a heartbeat away from the presidency. What a joke of a country.
