Not a chance encounter.............

I can cook. I just don't prefer to. Like "v" says, it's her area. I retain veto authority, and will occassionally decide that I want something in particular, but food is her task in general.

If IYM didn't like it, or when He feels no desire too... it's mine. No difference between you two regarding the basics of that. ;)
 
The menu for Friday evening has been decided.

Fondue, not the cheesy type, but a kettle of HOT sesame oil with all types of food choices, beef, pork, shrimp, chicken, scallops and various veggies to dip, plus a variety of sauces to finish it off!

Not only is it a wonderful meal, it's fun too!

I'll see about having "v" make some cheesey goo. Wish there was a better name for it, but it is a fantastic cheese dip that is a good accomaniment for such a meal, especially when there will no doubt be a profusion of fresh veggies for dipping.

Oh that sounds great! I was wondering what I should bring or make. I don't live all that far away, so I could prepare something as well.
 
I am thinking of having my gal make some cheesey goo. Unfortunate name, but very, very tasty white cheese dip. Very handy for such things, and similar to a cheese mix that the local fondue place serves for dipping.

I'll make and bring my famous olive oil crackers...also great for dipping and works well with cheese :D
