Tell me about this picture, please. What are you getting into?
That's a tractor engine that I'm rebuilding. It's upside down and the oil pan has been removed. That's the gasket surface in the foreground.
I have others from this series where I'm holding a piston and connecting rod, using various hand tools, etc.
I'm not really *doing* anything useful in this image. Mainly just posing the hands. Pure theater. *blush*
(Perhaps I shouldn't have revealed that. Hope it doesn't diminish anyone's enjoyment of the image.)

Glad you liked it. It's called a "quad tone" -- the image is comprised of only four specific tones (i.e., so that it could be printed on an offset press with only four separate ink colors).
Choosing the four colors is part of the art.
(It's an *approximation* of a quadtone, at least; since it has to be displayed on your RGB monitor.)
