First part of my third entry is up on the 'New' list but not on the competition page yet.

Second part - I'm still writing.

Despite the bombings there seem to be some very good entries for this competition. The contest for first place is going to be a close run thing and my stories will be nowhere near the top.

The last place? That's different. 'Muslim Roles' is doing well and dropping despite the vote count increasing. It might just get to 25 votes but it won't be above 3.50.

Stripped of Dignity has been up 2 days, had 600 views and votes of 5+1+1 avg 2.33 What is the matter with them - can't they read the warning notices

If anyone is interested, it was 1 voted at around the same time my two neonlyte stories were hit yesterday, coincidence? or someone working through the lists?

I've read maybe a third of the stories (Sat list) and voted, there are some very good stories who will come out way above mine, it is just a little frustrating that each time I get to 4.5 there seems to be a string of low votes.

As of now, Ch. 01 doesn't show in the contest entries. Or perhaps it's my tired eyes.

I don't know, my lesbian entry is hovering in the middle 3's despite the fact that I have lots of feedback for it, the most I've ever gotten and nearly all of it really positive. I was sort of playing with style in it and I didn't expect it to do particularly well, but it's pretty solidly low and has a lot of votes, it would be really hard to 5 bomb.

I may just surprise you all with the losing entry!

Sounds like everyone is getting lots of reads and votes and stuff. Give it a shot. Laurel seems to give preference to contest stories. My entry, Randi Comes Home Ch. 2, made it from submission to posting in 105 minutes. Chapter three in the series, which is not a contest entry, has been submitted for days and is still hanging around in Lit purgatory waitting for posting onto the Elysian Fields of Litdom.

I think what I like best about the Nude Day contest is that I have thousands of more hits on that story than on all my other posts. It is a mystery to me why everyone who reads the stories don't vote, though. I guess I am a compulsive voter. Put a survey in front of me and I can't resisit. That's probably why I get so much spam.
When you vote, at least we know you read the story all the way to the end.
But the main thing is, I want to be read!
