After my second uterine surgery, I was told to wait a month before any kind of penetration. Should have been a breeze, considering FL ex-BF and I were still long-distance at the time and planning to move in together 3 months after my recovery. Problem was, he was being overly-cautious and wouldn’t even play online for fear of making me hurt myself. It was torture! 2 weeks or so in, I finally convinced him with articles that showed it could actually help alleviate the post-op cramping. He caved that once, then went back to being overly cautious. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Despite his caution, I think it was actually harder for him than it was for me. About 2 days before I would have gotten the all-clear from my Dr, he asked me to move in with him 3 months earlier than planned.

From what I am reading here, I now demand a month where it's all orgasms for women all the time. Like, can we do that during Women's History Month? Or sooner?

But yes, hearing all of these things is disheartening. Why don't they care? We have super interesting bodies and hormones and genitalia and shit too! (And yes, from a historical perspective, I get it. However, from the perspective of curiosity about the world around you...)
