Obama admits he has no strategy on ISIS

thats the problem

We can argue that point all day long. There was a strategic advantage to going there, but that's all a moot point now.

But granting you your point you would think we would have learned something from the experience and not stuck our nose into Egypt, Libya, and Syria. It seems that when it comes to the Mid-East the dictator we know is preferable to the mobs that we backed to replace them.

we don't learn...we just don't learn

Yup, we wanted to install a friendly government there so we could build a massive airbase since the Saudis were kicking us out of the one we built in Saudi Arabia. Plus our multinational oil buddies would get those coveted oil reserves.

A wonderful reason for the Dubya Doctrine of pre-emptive war.

but...but...WMDs!

Name one.

Certainly not me.. Or any of the usual left leaning posters.

When you ask the LL to name an Obama failure, the only ones I've seen is that he didn't spend MORE money or that he didn't take over 100% of the HC industry.

He probably keeps changing the objectives every he's presented with a plan.

Don't you love the way The Regime blames the Pentagon for not having a strategy? Hell, they probably have a strategy if we're invaded by extraterrestrials. Saying they don't have one for ISIS is preposterous.

It is really quite amazing how the president throws everybody under the bus for his own shortcomings.

Of course. He's God, and never makes a mistake or does anything wrong.

Just ask his supporters. They NEVER criticize him.

In a new memoir, former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates claims that President Barack Obama had doubts about his own strategy in the war in Afghanistan.

According to reports on the book by the New York Times and the Washington Post, Gates writes that the president began to question his own decisions, leading the then-defense secretary to doubt Obama's "support for [the troops'] mission."

Pattern?

Better start another thread criticizing President Obama, miles.

Typical conservative tactic. As I said, they make fools of themselves.

Deflect.
Deny.
Change the subject.
Blame Obama.
Make personal attacks.
Answer the question by asking another question.

As I pointed out yesterday, Central Command has several contingency plans worked up for this very thing in region. The problem is, none of them are going to fit an Obama ideology that precludes victory.

None of them are going to fit into the electoral map.
