And his efforts to rally the people with populist rhetoric further alienated both the republicans and members of his own party. The obvious example of this is the fact that democrats in close races don't want him anywhere near their districts or states. This is also clear evidence that he is trying to 'rule' against the will of the people. What is amazing about all of this is that his administration is collapsing in spite of the almost unanimous support of the main stream press.

The veneer is peeling quickly.
