Obama blasts the evil 1%'ers

if your kind would get a job, and stop sucking the life out of tax payers ...

It's not his fault. It's Bush's fault. Bush infected him with the PTSD...

;)

He was one of the stupid and desperate that the Left talked about incessantly during those years who joined the military because it was the only way that they could get job-training and money for college. Gaia knows he never ever expected us to go to war any more than did Hillary Clinton when she voted to go for war. Americans are supposed to be nothing more than loud footsteps that carry no stick.

Why can't we just grow up and be more like the President!

See?

Throb is always willing to step up to the plate and prove that I am speaking truth and here you are doing what I said you would do...

It's like fish in a barrel.

*chuckle*

More baseline math.

Because, after 2010 (which who knows why that would be of any significance, beats the hell out of me, Obama wasn't on the ballot and got to stay in office), the deficit has been growing more slowly, the National debt is increasing by Billions instead of Trillions and because you love your President, he gets all of the credit, even as we pass off more to our grandchildren so that rich guys who can afford health care can force an insurance company to pick up some of their tab for a pre-existing condition.

I'll bet you were patting yourself on the back for being such a clever fellow as you were typing knowing that most of the people you are talking at really do not know the difference between deficit and debt.

The only important thing here, to you, is, seemingly, that the only problem here is that "Republicans" are too niggardly in giving Obama his mad props even as he rejected measure after measure to stop the bleeding, preferring to keep the leeches attached to the Middle Class.

I notice when you realize you are full of shit and losing a debate you quickly resort to lying about my medical insurance, which I pay the full going rate for and receive no subsidy. Your suggestion that I should not insure myself only proves you are drinking pretty early in the day. Maybe you should go get a job and get out of your pajamas. You're far more amusing when you're doing your morning mutual jerkoff session with Ish and Miles.

obama is a ass clown, who wants to be that mentally damaged?

I said subsidy?

Liar.

What I implied was that the rates that I was promised would go down, actually went up once government dictated what they must cover.

Now, you may address the rest of the statement instead of going on about me and my "pajamas." Unless, of course you want to wait to be more amusing and clever when you homies Throb and b_b and back into Full Mental Posting...

;)

Besides, I actually had to go into the office for a meeting just two hours ago.

I earned my pay.

It never ceases to amaze me, Chief Speaking Bull, how you never say one fucking thing about deficits or federal debt when a Republican is in the White House but as soon as a Democrat takes office, you demand your fainting couch and insist things be dealt with immediately.

We all know that the federal budget is a base-line budget and that if the Republicans even hint that they will cut into the automatic rate of growth that you will be here echoing the Democrat headlines reaching out to their true constituency about how the Republicans are trying to steal their Gaia-given rights as citizens and almost citizens away from them because they want to deny their access to education, health care, food, clean water, clean air, decent jobs, the middle class, a night at the opera, the movies, television and the White House...

Only an idiot offers up such a bet knowing that there will be no takers because the sweet honey of Sophism actually works on the typical liberal constituent who thinks only in terms of what can my country do for me.

There. Now we can be friends.

What's the matter?

I caught you twice trying to use language to paint a false picture.

Wanna step up to the plate and go for strike three? I mean, so you don't want to be seen as "losing a debate..."

;)

Awwww, such butthurt.

Speaking of promises, you promised us over and over that if Obamacare was passed, fewer people would have health insurance.

...but now it turns out that more families than ever before have health insurance!

How embarassed you must be!

Well Adre, Throb's willing to fight for your honor!

;)

That must count a lot in the big book of moderation...

So let's reprise some of the thread's golden moments.

(The best use of use of compartmentalization.)

"Let's make a five dollar bet. I say that if the Republican Party wins control of the Senate, then the White House, government spending will not decrease..."

"In case you had not noticed the deficit has been rapidly decreasing under the colored man you so detest."

Of course, every time the Republicans went to work on the deficit after 2010, Adre was not in their corner. He was with Obama.

Now, he wants Obama to get all the credit.

Then, I managed to get under his skin because of his full and enthusiastic support of Obamacare which has hurt those of us still working by his own personal example of now being able to get insurance because of a pre-existing condition as how dare you declare that I get a subsidy! Even though my rates went up, thanks to the new rules, that's not a subsidy...

So I must be drinking.

Hauser's law is the proposition that, in the United States, federal tax revenues since World War II have always been approximately equal to 19.5% of GDP, regardless of wide fluctuations in the marginal tax rate.[1] Historically, since the end of World War II, federal tax receipts as a percentage of gross domestic product averaged 17.9%, with a range from 14.4% to 20.9% between 1946 - 2007.[2]

The proposition was first put forward in 1993 by William Kurt Hauser, a San Francisco investment analyst, who wrote, "No matter what the tax rates have been, in postwar America tax revenues have remained at about 19.5% of GDP."[3] Hauser cited Arthur Laffer's concept of the Laffer curve in his original article. While the two concepts are similar, Hauser's law was put forward as an empirical observation whereas the Laffer curve is a theoretical argument.[4]

Just to keep things on track:

The deficit has been shrinking. The debt continues to rise because there is a deficit.

Carry on.

No shit Sherlock.

The basic point missed by Adre was which party was responsible. The party he hates or the party that he is not at all a part of but defends with enthusiasm.

The deficit has been decreasing because more and more people have been going back to work after the disastrous Bush recession.

The economy has been steadily recovering, despite the best efforts of Republicans to sabotage it for political gain.
