Do you have any grasp of the current issues surrounding immigration? Are you aware of the violence our forty-year drug war has spawned in Latin and Central America? Do you have any grasp of the labor policies that allow those "illegals" you despise to be exploited at slave wages, and which likely put a good chunk of the food you eat on the table? Are you aware that many immigrants pay taxes on Social Security and Medicare that they will never actually collect? Have you read up on the sheer number of undocumented persons who were brought here as children, who have grown up speaking English, and believed they were American only to discover in their teens or early adulthood that they were not in fact citizens?

Are you prepared to actually discuss these issues? Or are you just another small-time, small-town idiot with more opinions than sense?
