Obama inherited from the republicans a country in a complete meltdown, headed towards a depression.

He brought us back from the edge of disaster.

And if any republican wished to dispute that, tell me what they have done in the past 15 years to improve the economy.

From the point of view of the people who were actually running the experiment, I suspect that it was a roaring success. They persuaded American voters, who were angry and weary after 8 years of George W. Bush's policies, to accept another 8 years of them.
