Let's start with a disclosure, I don't believe McCain to be the Great American hero that he's being portrayed as. Yes, he served this nation and yes he was a hero for many reasons, but not Great in my estimation.

That being said, the funeral itself was an extravaganza worthy of a past president, which he was not. Way overplayed as far as I'm concerned.

It wasn't lost on me that there were more democrat politicians there than republicans. It would be interesting to know whether McCain made up the guest list prior to his death or whether the family made the decisions? Quite frankly given McCain's behavior post 2008 that answer might be a toss up.

Yet another funeral was used as a political pep rally, or bashing in this case. Once again, in my opinion a funeral is to be used to celebrate the life of the deceased, not to denigrate the live(s) of those still living. That sort of behavior in a manner detracts from the positives of the decedents life. To put it another way, when the speeches given by the speakers swerve into the negative it tends to reflect on the life/beliefs of the deceased. Why would the family want to allow that?

Trump as always has no one to blame with himself. Trump threw the fist insult by stating that McCain wasn't a war here. Considering that Trump is a pussy with bone spurs, you should be aware of the point I am making. Trump not only attack Democrats, he attacks Republicans. Trump is a shithead and a bullshit artist. To me, it wasn't right. But, it's the way we are now, sadly. No one has class anymore. I didn't know you could unvite someone to your funeral. I could only imagine what a shit show Trump's funeral is going to be. McCain's funeral was too much. As other's said, it was as though a President died. Condolences to his family.
