OCC: Star Wars: Return of the Sith

Is it a bad idea to bring in more Sith at this point? It seems we're overflowing with evil...useful evil, but still at an overflow? I have an idea, and one that won't be coming into play too soon, but might keep things interesting later on, or even carry into a new thread should this one die out.
Thoughts?

Well, I brought my character in because, Khadgar dropped out (one Sith down) and PoohLive has been MIA for 10 days (two Sith down and a pivotal one at that). Abraxas' character seems to be borderline, and not exactly fully evil. Not with his new grandaughter in the picture. That left us with zero villains. I figured we needed an Evil Bad Guy Whom Everyone Hates Looming In The Background type, so Darth Moridin was born.

At the time, I didn't know Orlanth was planning on doing the same thing though. maybe we can keep it interesting by forcing some sort of rivalry between the two. There can only be one Emperor after all (AND IT WILL BE ME!!! MUAH HA HA HA HA!!!!).

Ahem. Anyway, there no saying all the Sith have to like eachother. As a matter of fact, the nature of evil is to despise evryone. Even other evils. Unless it serves there purpose to work together for some reason.

But if you guys think it's too much...

Well, let us know.

Remember, that the story line of this thread is to have more Sith, then Jedi.

My char' has already killed one Sith. My actually bring in Darth Kane is to be the on e to star building a new Death Star at Coruscant, and use that to gain power.

In Star Wars officaly, a lonmg time before Vader, that there were a lot of Sith. But they all fighting foor power , and killing each other for more pore, thus the Sith Wars. That's where a Darth Bane, reconstracted the Sith, to have only 21 Sith lords.

So we can have more then two Sith. But having them rival each other basicaly to rule the empire.

PD, I like the idea of our two Sith having a not-so-friendly riv al... May the best... worst Sith win?

Actually, Tholin plans to rebuild the Sith in a new image, since so far their track record is as bad as the Texas Rangers.

& yes, he can be as evil as needed, he just doesn't show it very often.

Okay...I'm not overly sure where I want the characters to go. I'm not really interested in making them the type who want to rule the Universe, not just yet anyway. I have something else planned out for just now. I'm thinking it a more personal vendetta, though I'm not sure who the vendetta should be against. I'll PM you about it Orlanth...

Ok, you have a nice idea, QC. Let's keep up the good work guys anmd girls. This is a good thread already, and just gets better.

With my Darth Kane. I wont bring his constraction of a Death Star in for a while. Don't wont to rush things, slowly buid up to it. We have all the time we want on this thread, so we can go slow and make everything good, fun to play, and fun to read.

We don't ha ve to have all the Sith joi\n together... The Sith are evil, one Sith is more powerful then one Jedi... We have a few Sith, and not all are friendly, we can have Sith vs Jedi, Sith vs Sith, even Sith and a Jedi vs a Sith!

Agreed. I have my chracter in line as the one to attack the planet just in case PoohLive is still MIA, of course I'd rather not have to. I do think it would be needed to prompt the Jedi into direct action, instaed of reacting. What do you all think?

As for Darth Kane, I'm thinking Moridin doesn't like him very much, and would be just as likely to want to destroy any Death star he's building as he would be to want to kill the Jedi. They probably both view the other as fools for one reason or another, lol.

I'm pretty sure the Sith don't know much about Tholin even being around, yet, right Abraxas? If I remember, he just came out of hibernation od some sort. That should be a nasty surprise for both of them.

As for vendetta's, I have something in mind, but want to hold off on it for awhile. I still haven't spoken to the writer for the character, yet.

This should be fun. Nice to be a part of a thread with so much communication.

By the way, I WILL NOT be making Moridin all-powerful. He will make mistakes, and lose battles as I think both sides should. Let's just keep communicating and this should be a blast.

Darth Kane wont be all that powerful. After all, he has 4 Star Destroyers, one Supr Star Destroyer being made, the very basics of the Death Star being made, and he doen't control all of Coruscant, just a part...

I actually plan to have Darth Kane be killed off not for a way. Of course he'll fight your Sith, PD. But not stay around much longer.

Look, just to give my opinion on the whole "Too many Sith" thing - and I know I'm repeating what others have already said - but there could never be too many Sith, really. After all, they wouldn't exactly be friendly to each other (Even apprentice/master relationships would be a bit iffy), and besides, I think it would be good to see a challenge for the Jedi - after all, (this is just my opinion, it's probably wrong) the "good guys" have faced progressively harder and harder challenges from ep. 1 thru to 6 (Dunno if 3 will follow this trend).

After the 6th I had an entire week of finals, where I didn't get ten minutes to myself, much less time to get on a computer and check up.
I thought I had put myself in a passive position, that way even if I couldn't be here, someone else would at least start the attack and not have much toes to step over. Seems like I didn't do as well a job as I thought though.
Anyway, after that, the week simply got on without me. That, and the fact that I don't have a working computer at home, which means I'll have to stop by the library day after day.
Nothing I can't handle, just be ready for a more laxed posting for a little bit.
Oh, and I'm glad to see some other evil in here. I was beginning to think I would have to do all the work myself.
