OCC: Star Wars: Return of the Sith

Actually, Vader didn't kill meany Jedi. There was a armie what had a uniform like Baba Fett's

Vader also killed a Sith, Darth Sidous.

Hey, good storyline. I'm looking forward to starting this.

Oh, by the way, Quiet Cool. What you said is fine. A bloke can never have enough friends... especially when you might have to fight some powerful super-evil bastards :p

I'm looking forward to starting the story line as well. We need more people first... Or do you think we should start and people jin at a later date?

Also, you can have more then one char' in my RPGs. I had 3 in my Drk Age thread.

I'm in!

This looks like it's going to kick ass, alot of cool and good writers here. Not sure what I'm going to play though. Hmm...

I loved Darth Maul. I'm with Khadgar on the double light saber thing. Isn't the only reason he used it one-sided because he blocked a hit and it got cut in half? I heard Mace Windu is going to have a purple saber in the new movie.

I may just be a smuggler or a pilot, lots of force users floatin around here (pun not intended, lol).

When Qui-Gon Jinn and company toke of from Tatoonie, they had a run in with Darth Mual, and Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Mual had a short dual, and Darth Mual only used one side of his double sided Light Saber.
Then at the end on Naboo, Darth Mual used both sides of his Light Saber to fight both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon.

Mace Windu, might have a purle Light Saber. All I know is in The Phantom Menace, Mace Windu never used his Light Saber, but you look at it's size compared to a normal Light Saber, I do believe Mace Windu will use a double sided Light Saber.

I thik a double sided Light Saber needs more skill to use. Besides your normal single sided techneqs, you also have to lern the dounle sided.

If i remember my star wars info right, i think the double saber is a weapon only the sith use, at least in the movies....

I don't know, I'm sure Mace Windu has a double sided Light Saber. I'll look into it. :)

The Sith

An ancient order of Force-practitioners devoted to the dark side and determined to destroy the Jedi, the Sith were a menace long thought extinct. The current incarnation of the Sith is the result of a rogue Jedi dissident from the order. Two thousand years ago, this Jedi had come to the understanding that the true power of the Force lay not through contemplation and passivity. Only by tapping its dark side could its true potential be gained. The Jedi Council at the time balked at this new direction. The Dark Jedi was outcast, but he eventually gained followers to his new order. Awakening beliefs from the dark past, the new Sith cult continued to grow. With the promise of new powers attainable by tapping into the hateful energies of the dark side, it was only a matter of time before the order self-destructed. Internecine struggle by power-hungry Sith practioners dwindled their numbers.

One Sith had the cunning to survive. Darth Bane restructured the cult, so that there could only be two -- no more, no less -- a master, and an apprentice. Bane adopted cunning, subterfuge, and stealth as the fundamental tenets of the Sith order. Bane took an apprentice. When that apprentice succeeded him, that new Sith Lord would take an apprentice.

Ok, that's the Sith. So if the story line we already made is to be used, we should try and work out a way around this Cult, Darth Bane constructed, so there could be more then two Sith. A Sith Order, like that of the Jedi's. What we woukld need is a Sith master who is strong enough to restruct the Cult to fit our story line. Not so hard, really.

Also from what a found out, double sided Light Sabers are called "Sith Light Saber. So only some Sith can use it, so all the Jedi RPers, please use single sided Light Sabers.

Sith Light Saber

As the Jedi had not faced the Sith in almost two millennia, lightsaber dueling had become a lost art. To focus their training and their skill, Jedi still partake in practice duels and sparring contests, but to face an actual saber-wielding opponent was not something any Jedi expected before the Naboo crisis. In the past, the double-ended lightsaber was reserved only for training purposes.

Unlike the Jedi, who use natural crystals mined from such worlds as Ossus in the Adega system, the Sith prefer synthetic crystals to generate their lightsaber blades. While the crystals are being forged in a blazing furnace, it is not uncommon for a Sith to reach out with the Force and manipulate the process, focusing his hatred for the Jedi to increase the potency of the crystals.

Millennia ago, another Sith Lord, Exar Kun, fashioned a modified lightsaber with two blades. During the events of the Great Sith War, Kun modified his existing weapon to increase its lethality. Customized controls allowed him to extend the length of each blade from half a meter to one and a half meters

Light Saber

The lightsaber is the weapon of a Jedi, an elegant armament of a more civilized time. In comparison, blasters are crude, inaccurate and loud affairs. To carry a lightsaber is an example of incredible skill and confidence, dexterity and attunement to the Force.

When deactivated, a lightsaber appears as a polished metallic handle, about 30 centimeters long, lined with control studs. At the press of a button the energy contained within is liberated and forms as a shaft of pure energy about a meter long. The saber hums and scintillates with a distinct sound. Its shimmering blade is capable of cutting through almost anything, save for the blade of another lightsaber.

In the hands of a Jedi, a lightsaber is almost unstoppable. It can be used to cut through blast doors or enemies alike. Using the Force, a Jedi can predict and deflect incoming blaster bolts, and reflect them back at the firer.

After the extermination of the Jedi ranks, lightsabers became rare relics. The knowledge of their construction disappeared with their masters. Luke Skywalker, the last of the Jedi, built his own lightsaber as the culmination of his training.

Although use of the lightsaber is strictly reserved to the Jedi -- the only ones capable of handling the difficult weapon -- it is also used by their sworn enemies, the Sith.

Mace does have a purple saber but its only a single. I think we can forgo the only 2 sith rule we just need more sith and jedi.

The Jedi

A noble order of protectors unified by their belief and observance of the Force, the Jedi hearken back to a more civilized, classical time in galactic history. Their order is ancient, spanning over a thousand generations. As the Galactic Republic throve and grew over the centuries, the Jedi came to serve it as guardians of peace and justice.

Headquartered on Coruscant, the Jedi trained, studied, and planned from the impressive Jedi Temple, a towering edifice rising high above the surrounding structures on the city-planet. They are governed by a High Council of 12 Jedi -- most of them Jedi Masters -- who contemplate the very nature of the Force.

To become a Jedi requires the deepest commitment and most serious mind. It is not a venture to be undertaken lightly. As such, Jedi instruction is rigidly structured and codified to enforce discipline and hinder transgression. A Jedi who fails in his training can be a very serious threat. The dark side of the Force beckons to the impatient, and students in the past have been lured to its call with devastating consequences.

Jedi candidates are detected, identified and taken into the order as infants. One method of detection is through blood sampling -- those with great Force potential often have high midi-chlorian counts in their bloodstream. A prospective Jedi begins training in infancy. All connection to previous family life is lost. In this early stage of training, a single master instructs groups of Jedi hopefuls.

As the Jedi mature, the apprentice is paired with a master to continue the next phase of the training. According to the Jedi Code, a Jedi Master may only have one Padawan at a time. Near the end of the Padawan's training, she must undergo trials before ascending to the rank of Knight.

The next level of rank in the Jedi order is the Jedi Master, reserved for those who have shown exceptional devotion and skill in the Force. It is from the ranks of the Jedi Masters that the High Council is chosen, which is the main interface between the Jedi and the government of the Republic.

The Jedi dress in simple robes and carry specialized field gear for their missions. Their signature weapon, the lightsaber, is both elegant and deadly when in the hands of a trained master.

The sworn enemies of the Jedi are the Sith -- a cult-like order bent on domination through subservience to the Force's dark side. Founded by former Jedi, the Sith abandoned the precepts of knowledge and defense, and instead seek abandon and strength through the Force's hateful energies. Centuries ago, the Jedi destroyed the Sith order. A dangerous complacency set it, wherein the Jedi believed the Sith extinct. Little did they know the order would arise anew, to destroy their ranks. When the Empire came to power, the Jedi order was exterminated by Emperor Palpatine, and his Sith Lord apprentice Darth Vader. During the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Jedi were all but extinct. A few survivors, Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Jedi Master Yoda, were able to train the first new Jedi in a generation. As a sign of the desperate times, Luke Skywalker was taken into the Jedi fold well past the traditional age requirements -- he was already an adult when he first picked up the lightsaber. Nonetheless, his raw talent in the Force -- inherited from his father -- was such that his age didn't matter.

Luke Skywalker scored numerous major victories against the Empire, and was able to lure Darth Vader from the grip of the dark side. Vader, once again Anakin Skywalker, defeated Emperor Palpatine, bringing an end to the Sith reign of terror that had seized the galaxy.

Ronag.
Powerfully young Jedi. A man of superior intellect and a calm rational mind. He spends many hours simply meditating. The very thought of joining to the dark side humors him. He is a light hearted, good natured person, almost a perfect aspect of what a Jedi should be.
Around 23 or so. A tranquil blue saber, and dirty white robes.

Ganor.
Powerfully young Sith apprentice. A man of superior intellect, and a calm rational hold on the dark side. He spends many hours training, in an almost meditative state. The very thought of joining the Jedi humors him. He is a dark, demented, vindictive jerk of a humanoid, almost a perfect aspect of what a sith should be.
Around 23 or so. A fiery red saber, and glossy black robes.

If you must know, yes, these two are twins. I would tell you the history, but it's much more fun revealing it slowly throughout the run of the thread. If you are a die hard star wars fan at all, the fact that they are twins should set something off in your mind though...
I'm not telling.

Oh Oh I know (raises hand)...but letting it come out during the thread will be better! Good Idea to put them in like that! :D

the mandorian army, yeah, or however it's spelt, but he did alot of killing himself. and sidious was the emporor. so.... that has special circumstances i think.

So...by my (quickly made and not by reading back over the thread and thus immune to flames) count we're up to 3 sith and 5 jedi. Anyone else thinking we're ready to start now? Personally, I think it'd be nice to make the sith more powerful then the jedi to encourage teamwork on the jedi side and make it a real struggle for them while the sith just laugh.

okay, i'll be sithian then. let me think of a charechter.... oh, i've got a question, do ALL sith have to use sith sabers? (the double bladers)

Sith either use the double or have 2 that they use at the same time unattached.

ohhh hokk me up for the two seperate.... or if i can use it as a quarterstaff then maybe the double

2nd character profile

Name: Raine DuVall
Age: 34
Gender: Female
Height: 5'8
Weight: 120 lbs.

Trained from a young age, Raine has always been at the top of her game, always ready to train, always ready to defend what is right, but her past is such a mystery that it has concerned her superiors from her finding, during the infant stage, when she'd been abandoned in a whorehouse on (I'll fill in the blanks later). Having tested high in her midi-chlorian levels, she was immediately taken to the Jedi council for training. Her master, Marlik, once a friend of the legendary Luke Skywalker, trained her well, seeing her catch on to even the slightest of things without much effort.
The mystery of her origins, most distinctly, the identities of her parents, were much a concern as she began her training, though that concern has diminished as she grew to the order.

Appearance: a little tall for a woman, Raine's physique is that of a woman who has trained hard, and never let up. She is chiseled, though not bulky at all, having the body of an ethlete five to tens years younger, though her facial features show her age and determination, and her hard work, which has taken much of the youth from her appearance there. At the outside corners of her eyes are the beginnings of crow's feet, now barely noticable, but soon they will be apparent. He brown eyes matches her brown hair, which hangs in a long braid down her back. Rarely does she smile, and when she does, it seems forced. Her seriousness is more pronounced than in many others of her kind (jedis) the sign of some great worry dwelling beneath the surface that she finds unsettling. A foresight of the Sith's return?

Let me know if I should change anything. I wasn't sure if there were ever any female Jedi's, but it seemed to make sense when I thought it out.

Repost of Marius (with more detail)

Name: Marius Lane
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Height: 5'9
Weight: 180 lbs.
Bio/Info: Raised by a small community on a mining colony, his parents having abandoned him there, Marius stowed away on a mining ship headed for a "Rebel" planet, though the empire had apparently faced defeat by this time. Reaching the planet, he met a Jedi, Raine DuVall, and managed to befriend her, convincing the Jedi to take him on as an apprentice. Having a crush on Raine, a beautiful brunette with a perfectly athletic form, Marius hung on her every word, picking up the ways of the Jedi quite easily with his attention so well focused. Though beginning training late, he was more than skilled enough for his age by the time he reached his 20th birthday, and only got better in the years to come.
In his training, he grew to be friends with another Jedi in training, Daelon Eldritch.

Description/ appearance: Barely taller than his female mentor, Marius is a little self-conscious about is height, even given the status of the legendary Yoda and his great achievements. A handsome man, and well-sculpted from his intense training with Raine, he is also built athletically; though he has developed some size, he is not at all bulky, just well defined. His eyes are a bright blue, conflicting some with his dark brown hair, often kept short, but rarely kempt. He skips most of his vain grooming to get an early start on his training each morning, often leaving his unshaven as well. Thought light of heart, he has adopted some of his Master's seriousness, and smiles less now than he had during the earlier days of his training.

Orlanth, if these profiles are okay, let me know, and I'll PM you with what my intentions are for these two...if you want to know in advance, that is.

Darth Guar

Alignment: Sith
Sex: Male
(does it matter what race?)
Height: 6'1
Build: Thick
Age: 31

Guar used to be from a respectable family on Coroscant. after the New Republic took Coroscant, the council took him in as having a high count, and went under training. lacking the paitience to do breathing excercises, and other such that require time, he snuck behind his teachers back and consumed entire volumes about controling the force, he had soon read all the books in his masters libarary. but when he was discovered, he was shunned, and thus, he extended his powers unguarded. becomming tangled in the dark side

What was posted on page 2 was not flames. There was a talk about the double sided light saber, and then I posted a lot of information on the Sith, the Jedi, Light Sabers and Sith Light Sabers. All of that is to help us with this RPG.

The Sith do not have to have a Sith (Double sided Light Saber) Darth Vader doesn't.

All the char's are looking great.

The RPG Has started at Star Wars: Return of the Sith.

No body has to PM with the inntions of their char's, it is better to see what happens. :) Lets have fun! I will post my char's first entire later, so you all can post right away.
