OCC: Star Wars: Return of the Sith

If there are any real Jedi left at all, they know how to construct a lightsaber. It's an integral part of their training.

If I remember correctly ... I think Luke found an ancient text somewhere. At Ben's place on Tatooine he makes his own lightsaber there. This is just before they go rescue Han from Jabba.

I read this somewhere. I dont know if it was from Return of the Jedi or one of the young adult titles.

don't remember that.... but at that time he was no a knight. knioghts DO know how to make a saber

oh, and since poolive isn't at the meeting anyumore, is it over?

Just talked about that tonight with my friend.

Luke found some holoprojectors at Ben Kenobi's place, with those he was able to build one.

I never left the meeting, still waiting for a responce. I suppose though, since no one is jumping at the chance to be a spy, I can let Goth's character use it to get inside.

Okay, everything everyone said was rather informative, but no one said if it would be possible for me to build one...

How about this...Luke did it, you can do it...why not? We all have them, so someone must be making them, right? Realistically, it would only make sense that they were skilled in that way, being as only Jedi and Sith carry them, and the Sith wouldn't be able to purchase them without leaving a trail for the Jedi to follow to discover their identities. Or am i looking too deeply on that?
Whatever...someone knows how, so why not you...?
Oh, and I went ahead and named the planet: Mached V. Random naming, but it sounded good enough. Raine and Marius are on their way there now for sparring practice. Hope you two don't mind me throwing that in there, making it a sort of appointment between the four of them, I guess.
I think I may have picked up on something, though. Don't all the Jedi have to go to Corruscant, for training? That would mean in order for Daelon to be an apprentice, he would have to have left his home planet. I might be wrong, or overdoing it with the rules. Just thought I'd point that out.

I think we agreed the council was destroyed? If that is true, then there is no need to goto Coruscant. After all, Luke didn't go to Coruscant when taken under Kenobi's wing or, later, Yoda's.

Info: D'rack is one of the Last Jedi Masters in he galaxy, he dreams of one day bringing back the Jedi Order. But there is a problem on the horizon; the Sith. D'rack must, some how rebuild the Jedi order, and overwelm the Sith...

I take it that means there currently is no council

Of course, at that point in time, Yoda basically WAS the council.

okay.... i'll go in as spy, i was kind of waiting for others, and i thought the plan was all of us go in?

Question: are we going to take in fact that Luke set up a Jedi Acadamy (sp?) <I know I spelt this wrong> on Yaven 4?

If it happens in the books, I'll know nothing of it...movies are the only reference I've used thus far, and there're so many books...
Let Orlanth answer the whole Jedi COuncil, Jedi Academy situation...he's running the thread.

I do have a small plan. It doesn't matter much if the rest of the Sith follows or not. I was thinking either we can all do this together, or seperately. Sort of like one Sith after the other going to attack the Jedi, and losing, then regrouping.
I wouldn't want everyone to go in at once, exactly. Then the plot's over and there's no more fun. If you do want to work with me, at least on some sort of agreed plot, that's great, if not I'll just do my own thing. Either way is fine with me.

New character profile

Name: Mogo
Age: not sure
Gender: Male
Race: Toydarian

Having learned the junk and salvage trade from his uncle, Watto, on Mos Epsa (Espa?), Mogo set out on his own, leaving the planet to make his own fortune without impeding on Watto's profit possibilities. Finding kerra Shiran, he joins her crew and quickly takes a liking to her. Soon he is greatly involved and making a name for himself in the smuggling trade. Though not much of a warrior, Mogo can use a blaster fairly well, though he'd prefer to run than to fight. He has become useful given his knowledge of parts and reparations on ships such as the Spotted Owl.

Sound okay?
