new Coven

I was awake thinking of this story last night, and came up with an idea. Since we have lost a few writers and this one thread is harder to write, this was my idea.

We make a Coven II. This time in modern times, same town decendants of the original characters. You can write in the first thread working up to death or leave it at mysterious ways or something.

Grand is right about one thing, i set the story in a time i cant find shit on to research. And the little bit i do know, isnt enough.

Writing new thread gives a chance for new writers to join in, and a hell of alot easier to write. more freedom for our characters, etc.

Let me know what each of you think, Its just an idea.

I was going to have Katy have an accident in the cave. Where she will be seriously hurt. And didnt you say that Thomas would live as long as she did? Does this mean he dies when she does?

In the new thread, this is how i got it set up. Katy's parents buy the meadow and the 5 surrounding acres of land, including the cave. They do bury her, but they wanted to cave also. Either Katy or Thomas hide the book safely in the cave. Then time jumps to 2001 mid march. Where a cousin of Katy's now owns the house and a natural herb remedy shop. It is modern times, and the highway will run right infront of the old house. This sound good? there is alot more details to it, but i was up late thinking it would be much easier to get new writers and to write what I know.

Well, that's no good. The other girls would look for the book. Or Raven, or the Scholar.


It's best to just start of fresh, and leave the old one to go on as long as itcan last, and eventually putter off and die.


It's not like it's important. I don't see the future Coven researching the old one too much.

I mean, it's not like the history is that important. They're two different covens. It'd be easier to just say that the witches became a coven, and lived long, happy lives.

Why bother creating loose threads? They lived their lives, and Katy just didn't give the book to her child, but hid it. And then, you could have a direct decendent.

I mean,....Katy and Tom could.....oh, nevermind.

I thought of that too, a dirrect desendant would work and history doesnt have to be totally accurate to start a new one. This one just doesnt seem to be going anywhere with the writers leaving or long absentees. I'll keep writing in the first one to a perfect spot for and ending and start the newer one. I didnt think about katy and tom thing until you brough it up. That would work nicely.
