Companionship is the one thing we ALL miss, Maddy. It's hard being alone for many reasons. The sex comes into play but really, after a while, it's not the act of sex that drives us insane. It's the lack of someone to talk to, that person to reach for at 2am when you're half asleep, the one who'll absently play with our hair while watching tv on the sofa. It's all those silly things that become so missed in our lives. It's the reason we, as people, need companionship, and while friends are remarkable in offering those hugs wne needed, sometimes, they're not quite enough. You'll find your perfect match. You're a wonderful girl. You'll get exactly the right one for you. She's just becoming the person she's meant to be first, to match you just right.

I think all of us have been to that place at one time or another. I've found that the easiest way to deal with it, is to just take things one step at a time. One breath, one minute, one TV show, one hour. Eventually, you notice one day, one weekend, one week has gone by, and while things may not have gotten any better, they may not have gotten any worse either.

I think one of the best healing mechanisms when I'm in that kind of state, is sleep. Take what you can, and do what your body craves until you can pull yourself up. I'm not trying to make it sound simple or easy. It never is, but it can be done. Don't despair, and as I said, know that all of us are here for you.

I hope you feel better soon, Maddy. Sometimes it really sucks being single. Friends help tho, so surround yourself in them if you can. Rest, and resouperate. It'll all seem better when the booze wears off.

Perfection is so over-rated. I prefer the flaws. It doesn't make me feel so bad for threatening to sell my kids to the gypsies and having belching contests with my 5 year old son.



Besides...perfect girls are no fun. They don't like to make out in public. The perfect ones have NO sense of adventure.
