Office Obsessions (closed for SimplyMsT)

Once out on the patio, Lana answered her phone, "Hello, Jessica here. Yes, I can make that work. Can you please send me an email with all of the details? No, I am not available this evening. Because I have previous commitments." Lana clicked her phone off and muttered a few choice words.

She fixed her dress, tussled her hair and walked back into the restaurant and to the booth where Zach was waiting. "I'm really sorry about that, I hope it hasn't cause any inconvenience?"

Lana took her seat and placed her napkin back in her lap. She took a long swig off her wine, which emptied the glass.

Yes, the view of Lana returning from the front was every bit as lovely as going away had been. Her body language and the long drink of wine had him wondering if something was wrong.

"No problem at all," he said. "Everything okay?"

Lana folded her hands in front of her, "Everything is just perfect, I'm truly full, this was a fantastic meal. When are you going to kiss me? I've been thinking about it all evening?"

She rested her chin on her folded hands and grinned at Zach. "You can't honestly tell me that you haven't thought about it too?

Lana's phone begin to ring again, this time, she silenced it.

Zach was a little taken aback by her asking when he was going to kiss her. He was far from an authority on escorts, but he thought that kissing was sometimes off the table. That didn't seem to be the case here. Was it her policy with all clients or was he an exception? It got him on a train of thought he didn't really want to be on.

"I have," he said, leaning forward to close much of the distance between them. Before he could get another word out, though, her phone rang.

He waited while she quickly silenced it.

"You're a popular woman. I can understand why."

He leaned in closer and in a softer voice said, "And I'll kiss you just as soon as I feel your foot on my leg again." He gave her a playful wink.

Lana smiled as Zach leaned into her, "The weekend can be a busy time."

With a playful grin and giggle, Lana's foot went directly to Zach's leg and started rubbing up and down. "I do hope you're a man of your word."

In all her time as an escort, she had never felt this way about a client before. There was something about Zach, but she couldn't quite place her finger on it but she was willing to find out what it was. Why so soon? She knew this could possibly be just a one time deal, but what if he did move here? Would she see him again? Would he want to see her again?

It's amazing the things that run through your head when you're about to kiss someone for the first time.

Lana grabbed the edge of her chair and closed the distance between them even more.

Zach felt the weight of Lana's words - "The weekend can be a busy time." She was a working girl, not a date, no matter how much it felt like the latter. Was this all a show? He didn't know. Didn't want to know, if he was honest.

Screw it, he thought. Just enjoy the evening, see where it goes, and worry about the rest later.

He leaned forward until their noses nearly brushed. There it was again, her scent, and from this close he could feel a certain energy about her that drew him in.

"If there's one thing that can be said about me," he said in a low, almost grumble, "it's that I'm a man of my word."

His lips closed the last fraction of an inch and met hers. Warm, full, yielding - he hadn't felt sparks like that in a kiss in close to a decade, maybe longer.

His words resonated with her as he moved closer to her. Goodness he smelled so good, his eyes so piercing she felt it all the way to her core.

Lana’s mouth found Zach’s as her lips lightly grazed over his. Her tongue pushed past his lips and found his waiting for her. Their tongues danced within each others mouth, like lost lovers finally finding their mate.

Lana moaned into his mouth as their kiss deepened, losing themselves in each other, finally.

Zach happily accepted Lana's tongue and kissed back eagerly. She tasted as good as she smelled. He was glad for the small bit of privacy their table offered, or their display would have certainly drawn attention.

Under the table, Zach laid his hand across the bare foot with which she had been rubbing his leg. He ran his fingers across the top, then along her toes. Once he had her attention, he wrapped his fingers around the back and rubbed the sole with a bit more force.

One thing that Lana knew about Zach was that he knew how to kiss! This man had a very talented tongue and wasn't afraid to use it. She was surprised when he took her foot in hand and started to rub it as they were kissing.

"By the looks of things I would say that everything is going ok?" said the waitress as she stared at Lana and Zach in their lip lock session.

Lana's face turned beet red as she broke the kiss. "Yes, everything is just fine."

Lana looked at Zach, "Are we ready for the check?"

Zach was slightly embarrassed at being caught, and quite amused at how much Lana blushed. To her credit, she recovered pretty quickly.

"Yes, I think we're ready for the check, thanks," he said.

Once the waitress was out of sight, he leaned back in and resumed their kiss, but only for a few moments.

"Shame she didn't ask if she could join in," he said, giving Lana a playful wink.

He handed the waitress his credit card and, while waiting for that to be processed, asked Lana what she was planning on showing him next.

A fit of giggles landed on Lana and she couldn't stop laughing at being caught by the waitress, it was like high school all over again. Zach quickly muffled her giggles with another smoldering kiss.

"Yeah it's too bad, maybe we can come back later and ask her if she wants to?" Lana said as she winked back at Zach.

"Well I was thinking that I could take you to the Garden District and let you check out some houses. It's quite a scene at night."

Her plan was working to get him back to her place, after all he didn't know where she lived. It seems the tables have turned a bit for Lana. She is used to the man being the one to get her back to her place and into her bed. This time she wanted Zach more than she could stand, especially if that kiss was any indication.

"Sounds like a plan," Zach said, liking the idea of the garden district. It sounded interesting, anyway.

He signed the bill and they left the restaurant, finding the sun had fully set and a slight chill had overtaken the warmth of the day. He didn't have a jacket to offer Lana, so instead her just wrapped an arm around her.

"Lead on, my dear. Are we walking or driving?"

The cool breeze hit Lana as soon as they stepped outside. She didn't even think about bringing a jacket but didn't worry about it as soon as Zach wrapped his arm around her.

"Wow, can you read minds now too?" Lana asked. "I was just thinking how cool it was out this evening.

"Lets drive since it's chilly this evening" Lana started for her car "I'm parked over here"

"So tell me Zach, do you really want to go look at houses?" she stated as they were getting into her car.

Zach chuckled at her question. Looking at houses, or neighborhoods at least, had been about half of his driving interest in this evening's activities. After meeting Lana, however, he'd been increasingly looking forward to what came after.

"I'm quite alright skipping the tour portion of tonight's activities," he said. "Would give me a reason to schedule a follow up."

He patted her on the leg just below the hem of her dress, his hand lingering.

"I put myself in your capable hands."

Lana laughed at Zach when he stated he needed a follow up.

She smiled as his hand lingered on her leg as the proceeded to leave the restaurant.

On the way she pointed out things that she thought would be of interest to him. Port Revel wasn't all that big but it had some historic value to it.

Lana looked over at Zach to find him staring at her yet again. "I thought we would go back to my place for a few drinks and conversation, how does that sound?"

She reached to turn down the volume on the radio as they made their way into the district. "This is the Garden District, this is also where I live. What do you think?" she asked as they drove through the streets, still pointing out things along the way.

"That sounds fine," Zach said in response to her suggestion.

He watched out the window as Lana pointed out some of the highlights of the neighborhood. It was nice, and certainly different from his previous hometown. He liked the smaller feel, yet it still had an energy to it. The Garden District seemed to have a healthy mix of restaurants, small retail, upscale apartments and condos, and green space. People were out walking under the lights and it had a pleasant vibe going.

"Yeah, nice neighborhood," he said. "I could see myself living somewhere like this."

He wondered briefly if Lana did anything besides her escort business. If that was her only income, she must have a lot of clients, since this looked like a fairly upscale neighborhood. That thought, combined with the calls she'd taken or ignored, sparked a bit of jealously and disappointment. She seemed like the sort of girl he'd like to be dating.

Was that why she was in a hurry to get back to her place? The evening was still young. Perhaps she thought she could finish him off, so to speak, and work in another client yet tonight.

He shook his head and chastised himself for bothering to worry. It was her business and, well, her business. All he need concern himself with was the here and now.

"Definitely need to check it out if I do end up settling here."

Lana felt like a first class tour guide, showing Zach the area. She wonder what he thought about her taking him back to her place. Was it too soon? Should she change her mind and take him somewhere else? Would he want to see her again? She stopped making herself crazy with all the would's, should's and could's. She returned her concentration on her guest.

"I moved here shortly after I got to town and I love it" Lana said as she continued to point out things to Zach. "If you do decide to move here, I can put you in touch with my relator, he's a gem!"

"We don't have to go back to my place if you would rather not, I just wasn't sure as to what you might want to do?" She said as they came to a stop light.

"How about you decide what to do next, after all this is your dime." Lana said in a very sultry voice as she proceeded through the light.

Zach wasn't sure quite what to make of Lana's behavior. It felt far more like a quirky first date between two people who really liked each other rather than a escort business deal - not that he had any first-hand experience with the latter. In a way, he was relieved that he wasn't alone in feeling a little uncertain. And while he had intended to have her show him around, he figured she'd already probably done enough of that on the drive and he was unlikely to be able to focus on much beside her the rest of the evening.

"Your place," he said, definitively. "The quicker, the better."

Lana laughed at Zach's response, "The quicker the better huh? Sounds like you have something in mind when we get there."

A couple of more turns and they were soon pulling into Lana's driveway, "We're here!" she said as she turned off the car.

Lana's house was a two story with windows lining the front, a well kept yard, a nice little flower bed under the front window. She loved her little home, it is what keeps her grounded.

As they approached the front door, the lights automatically came on. She put the key in the lock and unlocked the door and pushed it open for Zach.

"After you darlin." She said stepping in after him and clicking on the inside lights.

Lana looked at Zach and said, "Make yourself at home, I'm going to run up stairs and get into something a bit more comfortable."

Lana winked at Zach as she turned to go upstairs.

"Nice place you have here," Zach said as she left him in. Tasteful, nicely decorated, and not at all what he pictured for an escort. Again, he figured she must do very well or hold another job. Curious.

Then she vanished upstairs to get into "something more comfortable." His eyes followed her fine ass and legs out of sight. He could only image what she would return in, after that amazing dress.

She'd mentioned drinks and told him to make himself comfortable. He decided to poke around and look for the kitchen to see what she had on hand.
