Just found this thread... I normally post over on the "Anyone in Ohio" thread... but it's kinda of died down....

Me and my hubby are from North Central Ohio. I was born and raised around columbus.... my hubby is originally from Oklahoma.... tryin to turn him from a yankee rebel to a northern... but with each passing day.... it seems I'm getting turned into a southern bell..... *fans myself and batts my eyes* lol

I've not been to oklahoma yet... we have plans to go and visit some family soon. But my hubby is a true southerner... they've traced his family tree back to the 1800's and found he's {i think} 18th generation grandson to Pocohontes.. and had family that fought in the civil war in North Carolina as well as family that was on the "Trail of Tears"
