...us Brits have been commenting on your politics, way of life, constituttion and anything else we wanted to over the last few weeks. Well, since Florida anyway.

But we have produced our own homegrown idiots over the years it's just that they've been quiet for a while.

Now Geoffery Archer is being tried at the Old Bailey for perjury. A few years back he was involved in a prostitute scandal involving deception, blackmail, secret meetings on Victoria Station and pay offs to the said prostitute ("I was repaying a loan your honour!"). This was duly reported in one of our national newspapers which Old Lord Archer prosecuted for libel. The newspaper lost the case and was ordered to pay a few million pounds to Geoff.

You would think that he would make sure he kept his friend sweet and happy wouldn't you. But no. During our recent election for Mayor of London, Archer was one of the candidates, but withdrew when his one time friend confessed to the previous perjury. The newspaper now wants its money back and he has been charged by the police and is being tried at the Old Bailey.

Once again he is denying it all.

His original actions which were reported by the newspaper were so bizarre that even the original libel judge said they were worthy of one of his novels.

So you see we're not immune to fools.

England is our Greatest Ally for a reason. :)

Think Regean and Thatcher had a "thing?"

When are you Brits going to get rid of the stupid, antiquated, non-sensical attachment to your royalty?

Until that day comes, I have to take all comments by British subjects regarding American politics with a tiny grain of salt.

:p

Our fools are all appearing at the same time...

...this I just heard on the radio during my last post.

You may or may not know that we're having a General Election next week. There are three main parties involved but the two front runners (at the moment) are:

Labour (Roughly equivalent to your Democrats) - Blair
Conservatives ( Roughly equiv to your Repubs) - Hague

Labour is running at between 18% to 22% ahead of the Conservatives in the polls (with only a week to go)

Hague has just been on the radio and said he thinks the election will be a close run thing because - wait for it -"Look what happened in Florida with Gore and Bush"!!

Makes you wonder whether these men are entirely sane...

Good ol William Hague.
In a way i want him to still be leader because he comes up with the funniest crap :D

Politicians in any country are about the same. I am really getting tired of them. I could rant and rave, but I won't.

Lil did you Brit Wankers know that when you said

:p

My country is bigger than your country

:p

Re: Our leader is smarter than yours

:p

Nuttin to fight about, I agree

:p

American football is played in helmets and flakjackets.

English football is played in shorts and kneesocks.

:p

Americans bastardized the ENGLISH language.

And once again:

OUR LEADER IS SMARTER THAN YOURS!

:D:p:D
