OK - So What's The Difference???

OK... so a very good male friend of mine told me the other night that I was more seductive than sexy. This was said as a compliment. So what I want to know is..... what's the difference???

To me the difference is one of subtly. Sexy is out there, flirty, and obvious. Seductive is sultry, mysterious, and slightly obscured. Sexy is a blazing bonfire while seductive is a red-hot ember that you can just barely glimpse below the surface. Sexy can inspire instant lust while seductive can make you shiver with anticipation.

Sexy is a blatant in your face fuck me now thing. Its a no nonsense, no beating around the bush attitude. Sexy is a miniskirt and translucent blouse with no bra and panties. Sexy is reaching straight for your man's zipper when he walks in the door.

Seductive is a teasing, promise of things to come attitude. Seductive is a full length tight fitted gown with a plunging neckline to reveal just a touch of cleavage. Seductive is a delicate caress and a kiss on the neck that sends shivers up and down his back.

Given a choice between the two, I think I'd pick seductive anyday of the week. Sexy is ok, but sometimes its takes the fun out of the chase.

I think the difference is probably a subjective thing that is different for everone.

In my case, I'd say the difference is seductive is about attitude, Sexy is about appearance.

I agree with what has been said, and want to add this: seductive seems more deliberate, as in an having intention or desire to seduce or appear sexually desirable, whereas sexy can be almost accidental - you can be sexy without even meaning to be.

Hmmm.

I'd define 'sexy' as 'having the qualities of surface beauty-- and 'seductive' to be the one with the mind to go with it.

Sexy is also passive admiration; seductive is full of anticipation and a strong belief in potential passion to come.

Being SEXY is making HIM want to seduce YOU.
Being seductive is YOU seducing HIM!

Lots of women are sexy.
However, if a woman cares enough or likes me enough to seduce me, that's a special feeling for a man.
I'd take it as a compliment!
