Addictions suck!!!

I have to kind of agree with mbb here. I have also had addictions which I have overcome...not easily either. In the process of having these addictions, I did a lot of damage to other people. So while I enjoy Lit, find myself on it too often....enjoy coffee, almost need to have it in the mornings....trust me, these are not addictions, they are things you prefer to have in your life...but quite possibly would not sell your soul for.

Exactly....it is a matter of degrees....I wouldn't prostitute myself or sell my stuff for pennies on the dollar for a cup of coffee or a few minutes on Lit....and I made up my mind to keep an eye on me about things that get in the way of living, and start to steal a piece of my psyche....not gonna happen!!!!

Good for you hun...and congrats on beating whatever it was you beat. I know how tough that can be.


This is not to insult this thread either....I understand the point of it totally...and to want or need to have good things in your life is in itself a good thing.

Addictions

I quit smoking about 7 years ago...and i started to suck on blue halls "the orginal" the cough candy. I've cut down to about 5 a week. I used to buy the by the box but i've substituted giving head for blue halls. I hope I don't find a cure of that addiction.

Three very odd addictions...

1) Flavored water
2) Cop/lawyer shows
3) The Food Network
