Old and New Art • working around the new draconian rules

Alrighty, a path has been chosen.*

Mythological beasts (I'll start with the furry ones)

Centaurette

*This phrase reminds me of when the "Destructor" (aka The Traveler) was chosen. Which kinda makes sense as my mind is typically blank.

Large Faunus
This was an illustration for a Litster's story.
The "Large" Faunus was after the "Giant" one (coming soon) which the author complained about... being too big.
Always a potential issue when interpreting imagery from a story.

Very quiet in here. I suppose everyone was enjoying Thanksgiving, then sleeping it off, then shopping, then eating leftovers, then sleeping sum more.

Got most of the Christmas decorations up...tree today.

Watched Miracle on 34th street 1947 version and just started 1994.

Still still.

Been out to the farmers' market. and got greens for the porch. Going to a No Kings protest soon.
The City is already buzzing (literally, with all the banner planes) before the foosball game.

Will try to watch on the tube. Can "hear" it from here — like Adults talking in Peanuts TV specials...and the crowd roar at the highlights.

Ok....
Speaking of "holding one's horses" (so to speak)

here's
"Woah!"
A pencil drawing, from imagination, with no actual horses.
Wow, you're bringing back a lot of my forgotten memories, Chaintrick, X-marks the spot, Violet wand and now Woah!! Thank you, Throbbs!!

Wooo!"We're" winning!

Full disclosure: I am not on the team.
I did graduate from the skool.

Boooo Hooo "we" lose.

I am sure it was because I was not playing.

More likely cuz they "weren't playin'"

Ok. back to smutty drawings.

Where was I?
Did a bunch of mythical beasts. I have some sea creatures too.
Or bottles and such...?
I'm always curious what folk actual like/want to see. Can't say that I will always oblige, but if something piques my interest...

you um... you got any mothmen in your back pocket? 🤣

I was reminded of Hokusai's Print, "The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife".
Japanese Shunga has always been an interest of mine, as is print making (though, I have done little wood block, but a lot of intaglio)
So I was inspired to draw this. (perhaps I should make it into an etching)
