Personally, humour and sex can mix well if done right, just like melancholy and sex, or any other emotion, for that matter.

The webcomic Oglaf is a pretty good example. It's sex parody, very sex positive, and done very well.

Or to take an example from video games, Dragon Age Inquistion had two fantastic scenes (Sera and Iron Bull, although Sera wasn't to everyone's tastes).

And if the sex is FUN, there is no reason you can't share a giggle or a laugh while going at it. It's the most human thing to do while having fun together, after all.

Also regarding giggling or sharing a laugh during sex, well, it's probably the only polite and appropriate response if/when queefing occurs.
