Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

We need some Canadian coolness this morning!

The Guess Who - No Sugar Tonight / New Mother Nature

Fingertips 1&2 by Little Stevie Wonder

I have read some articles about this song... they couldn't get that kid to leave the stage like he was supposed to. At one point, you can actually hear someone say "what key? What key?" - he was part of the band for the next act, which only had second to take the stage... so they got out there, and Stevie keeps playing... so this different set of musicians had to play it, even though, they didn't know the track. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have a theory about the temp span from outside to inside being too high is a problem. I personally think more than 30 degrees difference is a bad idea. The problem there is, it is 115 or more outside here lately... following my theory, that means 85 inside??? What in the holly hell of all fucktarians would make me want to have it be that hot inside my house????

It isn't easy being me.
hehehehe

Birthday wishes to Martha Reeves, born this day, July 18, 1941, 83 years young. Most (all?) of her success was with the Vandellas when they had a bunch of hits. Lots of songs to choose from but I think I like this one best.

Birthday wishes to Mick Jagger, born this day, July 26, 1943, 81 years young and still touring. And regardless of all the memes you see out there, he's actually older than Keith Richards by about five months. He's recorded tons of songs, both with the Stones and on his own. I was going to go with Satisfaction, but I opted for this one as I like it better. It came out a few months before the former, and was still a top 10 hit, and it's a classic.

The Rolling Stones - The Last Time

Got to LOVE the Stones!! Best R&R Band ever!!!!
Yellow Submarine - 1966
