I'm starting to feel a little under the weather... maybe I'm coming down with something....

*giggling away at how stupid that was*

Johnny Rivers - Rockin' Pneumonia And The Boogie Woogie Flu
He does s good job by I still think Huey and his Clowns do it better. Both are fun and great R^B songs.
Well ALRIGHT!

Like the Hollies good harmony. This one reminds me of when I first started working. I met this guy every morning and afternoon going and coming home from work.

Now for my Rock oldie for today. Good to dance to. Dup Bop! Dup Bop! (A real one hit wonder from 1956)
Priscilla by Eddie Cooley & The Dimples

Heard this song again a few minutes ago and had to post it. Every person has felt like this at one time or the other.

It's December. You know what that means.

Snow. Crowds at the Mall and on the roads. For those of us in small towns, Jackass Tourists come back to bask in the quaintness.

And, her:

Don't get me wrong. Mariah is an amazing talent, with an incredible vocal range, and she is a gorgeous babe.

But, if I have to hear that fucking song one more time this year, I'm gonna start chucking speakers into the frigid waters of Lake Huron. Don't make me name that song.

The truth is, Christmas music doesn't have to be that bad. It can be invigorating, life-affirming, funny, touching and it can rock out. Welcome to "Tan's Christmas Music that Doesn't Suck". A selection of Seasonal music that you might want to hear twice in a row.

Let's start with "rocking out". No, I will not post Bobby Helms or Brenda Lee. "Run, Run, Rudolph" is one of Chuck Berry's best. Screaming guitars and a driving base line, inventive lyrics and that great hook. Perfect. I've heard lots of covers. I am fond of Brian Setzer's version and surprisingly, Lemmy from Mötorhead.

But let's stick with Chuck...
