Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

I don't remember any other tracks from these guys, but this one is great fun!

I'm dancing around my living room to this one...

Spin Doctors - Little Miss Can't Be Wrong

It's a beautiful Friday, the sun is shining, and I'm in a silly mood so.....

Talking Heads - And She Was

Heard this on another site and had to post it. I forgot about it since I haven't been in the Caribbean in years I'm sorry to say!

BOB MARLEY THREE LITTLE BIRDS

I guess it's supposed to be cool that the did a "remix" but it was shit. The original was great as it was. And here it is... turn it up... dance away...

Elvis Presley - A Little Less Conversation

I know the guy was... well not the ideal husband for Tina. But this version of the song still is so good.

Ike & Tina Turner - Proud Mary

I'm starting to feel a little under the weather... maybe I'm coming down with something....

*giggling away at how stupid that was*

Johnny Rivers - Rockin' Pneumonia And The Boogie Woogie Flu

Oh man... when that screaming Hammond B3 kicks in with the amps turned up so high they are all broken up.... soooo cool!!!

When I had my own proper tonewheel Hammond I worked out a little tube circuit to distort out like that without having to blow speakers... this recording was one of the reasons I did all that work.

The Spencer Davis Group - Gimme Some Lovin'

Okay... this song absolutely isn't some big hit that we've all forgotten about. Back in my Portland days these guys caught my ear and I think they were fairly local to the Portland/Eugene area but man, this guy can play. I kind of think I got to see them perform... but that was a long time ago...

Anyway, if you're curious, check out Monti Amundson and/or The Blubinos (I don't even know which name he preferred)

Blubinos / Monti Amundson - I'm wrong
