Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

The third song isn't a Blues song, but I have to play it.
One of music's most under-rated band.
Let it Roll by Little Feet

Has anyone ever heard of these guys? They sound really good (like the Beachboys)
Sloop John Be by the Fendertones

More of Tan's Christmas Music That Doesn't Suck.

"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" is a simple song, expressing a simple, heartfelt wish. To me, it sounds best with a simple arrangement. Say a puppet and a folk singer with a wonky piano...

Or, a jazz piano virtuoso, playing and singing with a traditional jazz quartet. My favourite rendition, Diana Krall:

I think this version is the best. RIP Karen. Such a sad thing, she left us way to soon. Her voice makes me tear up.
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas by The Carpenters

Heard this song today and realized I had to play it. What a voice and what a great song!
Baby It's You by The Smiths

(No relation that I know of.) RIP Gayle McCormick

And, the R&R Christmas song for today features Darlene Love
Winter Wonderland by Darlene Love.
This album changed Christmas music forever in a good way. It took my dad's old slow Christmas songs and made them into R&R songs for future generations!

One more Country meets crazy
Run Run Rudolph Brad Paisley and Steven Tyler

Hey Brenda, how about that garter play!

Okay... I'm back from my business trip and want to relax and dance around my living room.

And while I have posted this song multiple times, I just love it. Great feel, great lyrics, a really great message and as a weird bonus for me, I think the car they drive in the video is almost exactly like what my parents took on their honeymoon a million years ago. A red, '59 Buick convertible... it was a pretty new car then. 🤣🤣

Now.. where's @AlwaysDancing ?
