It was a nice night. Daniel Johnson was enjoying the night air, and the quieter atmosphere. He'd always enjoyed night, though he felt the quasi-urban setting tended to ruin his ability to watch the stars. He was walking to the 24 hour gym he belonged to, it was part of his weekly routine. It wasn't as crowded if he came at night, and he never had to wait for a machine if he wanted a specific one. Daniel was working on his endurance and muscle strength, he was hoping to go out for the wrestling team at the college when tryouts came around.
Daniel was a good looking 20 year old, shorter blonde hair and brown eyes. He stood a bit under 6 feet and currently weighed about 190 lbs. and was hoping to drop weight to compete in a lighter weight class. His gym bag was slung casually over one shoulder, his eyes more on the sky than on the sidewalk. It was pretty isolated and he didn't need to pay too much attention to where he was walking. He knew the way by heart practically anyway. There was a slight smile on his lips, it was really nice night.
He didn't notice the vehicle parked at the corner up ahead. It wasn't uncommon to see someone parked there, and Daniel paid it no mind. He really should have.
