I would not want to hold up the game for two character's coplayers. Better that I play just one role.

I am just a plebian here (with a big mouth) so I am willing to play the role set out. I suspect Amal would be a great character tho, so if anyone else wished to play him, that would be good.

Research - You don't need to do any research, but I don't want it to be plotless. Basic knowledge of the goings-on in those times should be fine.

For reasons that are obvious to those of us who know dreamgrl, I'll have to except her from this part...how many of us ugly, fat, loosers managed to get some v-sex this week?

If your answer to this is not "oh, I guess I did!" then it's time to hang yourself in the basement. If you sufferred some catastrophic hdwr/sftwh failure you don't have to commit suicide. But if you could not carry off an immitation of someone's fantasy sex partner, you must be either 13 (in which case shame on you, go to bed now!), or hopelessly asexual (pity upon you for what you're missing).

I tried to think seriously about propositioning that slender redhead at the supermarket, the one with the sparkly pale blue eyes. But I saw what passes for my marriage pass before my eyes.....and I had to blink.

Conversely, last nite I abused this virtual slut in the most heinous fashion, we we're....well, I'm still married.

I believe life is generally supposed to be happy. Sure there are curves and obstacles. We have all faced em. (12 year cancer surviver here!)

I thot I had a positive outlook. Maybe my life is such a mess, this is the best I can do.

Looking at it objectively, there are lots I could be complaining about. You don't wanna hear that stuff.

But I wear my penis on my sleeve, so alot just gets exposed.

I'll take your words as kindness of a stranger. And I must say I'm curious how I sound to you, since I wasn't really aware of exceptional negativity, I reread my own post and it sounds.....well maybe hardened.

I regret if my words inhibit you. Frankly, my intent would be the opposite, but I will say this, I'm not here to make it easy for people, per se. I expect you are tough-you wrote, afterall. You may have had to dig for your reply. Is there anything you can say is valuable about saying what you posted? (Gawd, my character is supposed to run a household with this person!).

I will resist provoking you further. Please believe, all is meant in good faith.

Certainly folks have'nt the same reasons for writing-some to remember, some to forget.

I've been verrrry busy lately, but I see I haven't missed much.

I have pm'd Starphyre re: character dev. tho.

I have a descrip of the 'house' and Emir himself. I hope we will be able to carry on here. Likelihood does seem dim tho......

Also - as far as the nobles go, someone should assign/pick which males/females go with which houses and each other, so there's no confusion later.

I would presume the noble ladies would belong to a house/noble man, otherwise they wouldn't really have any association, as far as I can see, to the auction or the slaves or the after events, right?

I've changed LATIFA's position to Princess (ie: daughter of King and Queen) not for incestuous purposes, lol (I don't really go for that myself, but you can if you want to) but so that hopefully someone will go for it, because it seems harder to get interested females.

If you guys want to pair up any way you see fit, or even just come as suitors and maidens, that's fine with me. We'll start it as a closed thread once we have everyone.

Absolutely.

Just post a little thing about yourself (ie: physical description, character description). And, so you know, LATIFA is, literally, a princess, so you really have to act it.

Okay, ASAD and AMAL, and everybody's confirmation, and we're ready to start.

Character: Latifa is truly a princess, very much in control when others are around. She plays her position to the hilt, never letting anyone forget who she is, and what her station in life is. She loves the Queen, her mother, but often times dreams of a world in which she could be queen, and often despises her mother on that account. She even regards her father with resolute coldness at times. She enjoys the humiliation of slaves for her own entertainment, and often gives them impossible tasks to ensure that she is able to inflict punishment.

I was a theater major...character building is my strength...lol...if you don't like it, let me know.
