OOC: Battlestar Galactica (open!)

I've been going around the forums checking this context and there seems to be some people interested so I thought about gathering around and getting into it!

I haven't decided yet whether I'm into being a human-female attracted by a cylon (a number 2 preferably ) or a cylon (6 or 8) seducing humans.... I guess it depends on the writers we get

The setting is also not yet decided, but we have talked about setting it during the time they are scaping cylon attacks (that is, parallel to the reimagining series)

So anybody is welcomed to join and post any preferred characters so that we can get this thing going.

Shotgun Starbuck!

I know that she's far from submissive but that'll be a lot of fun for me to portray. I'd like also to have some fun with the dark side of her nature, stemming from her abusive childhood.

Leoben's obsession with her will be tremendous fun with the right co-writer.

I don't mind who her human love/fuck interests are. I know she had a few partners over the course of the re-imagining series.

To be honest, that series is all I know about BSG so my vote is naturally for it. But if an alternate setting is decided then it won't take me long to research.

I don't know if Gaius Baltar is too big of a character to play or not, but he was definitely my favorite in the series.

I'm in... I'm still wondering about my character. One from the series or a new one that I may invent and insert in the story. I love the idea of the Cylon taking advantage with sex to submit humans and gain stuff. Cylons not knowing what they are but programmed to use sex. And some hot stuff like that.

But as "Leoben" has been "taken"... I thought we could introduce that "Daniel" cylon, although it is supposed not to be around... there might have been one that scaped, right?

Or... I could be your cylon if you prefer the human character.

Or... I think as well as in the series, couples mixtures may as well do in here

I'll take the role of Patrick, one of the pilots, young, vigorous, quite idealist and somehow naive, eager to earn something in the hierarchy. He's a human. Or at least he believes so ; perhaps the events will show he's not (that's to be determined later). The kind of man that would be up the miélitary ladder during thoses events, the kind of man a Cylon would love to have at hand and obedient (even if the Cylon doesn't know she's a Cylon)...

Nice one! I'm thinking about takinga "cylon 3" who doesn't know that she is a cylon... it looks like an interesting character to write!

Maybe we could have a couple or characters each, and write "side threads" when needed, what you all think?

Hi Hottie - sorry for the delay - yes I have agreed to play Leoben to FM's Starbuck. I'm a novice at BSG, but nothing like stretching to improve one's knowledge.

I've seen Tricia Helfer has changed her hair style and she looks quite different, so another model could be "hidden" in a small ship or something

I', thinking her not knowing to be a cylon could be interesting. She is dormantly having an affair with Patrick (just like Boomer.the chief) and when Baltar discovers her, he activates and so on and so forth :O

Hi A Man For You,

I was just thinking that you should include Patrick's surname, because in the military people are called by their rank and surname. Also, you should decide on a callsign for him. 'Starbuck' is Kara's radio callsign for when she flies and so Patrick should have one too.

I know she's being a bit derogatory of Patrick, I hope you don't mind.
