OOC/Casting Call: Dark Isle III: Vampire Nation (working title)

Hey I had forgotten I signed up for this but I have a character ready if you'll have me.

Name: Nikki
Race: Human
Hair: Black with bluish tint
Height: 5'8
Eyes: Bright blue
INFO: Nikki once fell in love with a half-blood vampire. They were together for many years when he was killed trying to protect her from a werewolf. Now she lives alone in a small but nice cottage on the outskirts of the city. She is aware of all the supernatural beings that roam the streets and chooses to stay as far away as she can. She knows however that sooner or later she won't be able to help that. She is a decendent of a long line of witches and practices regularily. She hates werewolfs with a passion but is also terrified of them. She rarely speaks to anyone and keeps mostly to herself.

Re: New characters

Lady_Siren, welcome aboard. It'll nice ot RP with you again...if you remember RPing with me before.
HomerPindar, Victor looks very beneficial...welcome.
Chewey...what would a thread be without you? Hop on. Post your char. and get into the works.
Leslie, good to meet you, happy to have you aboard.
...um...Kaptn'Kaos...I think the word I'm looking for is "whah?"
I'll need something more concrete if you truly wish to participate. Maybe give us something a little more serious, or at least direct. Comedy will never hurt a thread, but all your posts can't be slapstick-style wit, or else the other posts won't be ale to mesh with them.
I'm not saying no to you, just want something more concrete before I say yes.

Razor Silverfang

Ok, here is my character sketch.

Name: Razor Silverfang
Age: 44
Race: True werewolf
Alias: Raven Quinn
Height: 6'4" , in wolf form 4' at shoulder.
Weight: 250 Lbs, in wolf form 310

Background: Razor is the son of Umar and Silvara, making him a third generation true werewolf. His father had been the Alpha wolf of his pack, so it was assumed that Razor would take his place. However, Razor has some uncontrollable fits of rage that make him incapable of leading others. He is an unsurpassed fighter, but lets his emotions get the better of him. His rage has caused him to have a unique mutation. He is able to create his claws onto his normal human body without fully changing when he is angry.

Okay, Homer, a few quick pointers. One: when there are two threads, one an OOC thread, keep all OOC posts on the OOC thread. Too much OOC slows the thread's progression. Two: Be careful when you use NPC characters like you did in your first post. Your actual useage was fine, but you should edit to change the character's name, as we've got a player-character named Razor as well. We can't have the two being mistaken.
Thanx.

SO new to this...

This is the OOc listing then...where and how does one find the Ic posting area? I went back to the main board but don't see a similar listing.

Who knows. I may be blind this morning.

Actually, the character Razor was on this thread after I posted, for I certainly wouldn't have wanted that confusion in there myself.

I'll edit the message all the same, but it bares noting to those writing up characters as well as those posting...

Didn't mean to accuse you of anything, Homer, just wanted to avoid any future confusion, that's all.
Thanx

I figure now would be a good time to warn you guys. I have a habit of creating an onslaught on NPC characters. Just a habit. It makes the story seem more real to me. In a world where these thigns would be real, they would exist among others and among humans, and these others would have thier own personalities. you don't have to do the same, in fact, so long as you sttay true to the characters, you can use them as well, unless I have plans for them (and I sometimes do). Just let me know before you use them for anything major, 'kay?

Yeah, I do the same thing. :D

New character (if YOU guys approve)

Caine (The Hunter)
Member of an organization of assassins who specialize in the undead. Often laughed at in the past, this organization is being taken more seriously by a few, who as of yet donot acknowledge thier fears, even as they watch them grow.
Age: 34
Height: 6'0
Weight:190 lbs.

Appearance:
Long blonde hair and a muscular physique often make Caine stand out, but not so much in younger circles and in the club scenes, where the youth of both vampire and werewolf were known to blend with the mortals. Trained by his father, Caine is a second generation hunter, with keen instincts and exceptional battle skills, though the fact that he is human often leaves him at a disadvantage. He usually dresses to fit the scene he is investigating, bothic if he's ina Goth club, etc. But in battle, he wears a long black trench, black leather pants, and a black T-shirt. Within his trench, he hides a variety of weapons, often including several oak stakes, and quite a collection of silver bullets.

What do you think? We'll make this a group project. I'll take a veto if I feel a character is far too inappropriate, but otherwise, we'll do a three votes, you're in deal. Good?

Paen knows what I mean...how many NPCs do I have in Star Wars? Twenty?

That's cool though. Makes the plot more interesting. I prefer it.

Oh, and I like the Hunter. I was going to do one as well... maybe I still will. After all, we have plenty of Vamps and Wolves, and no one for them to really fight...

I like the idea of the hunter..... he'll make a good addition to the plot.

If it is okay I might add another character in.

Thanx, guys, and The Hunter, doesn't have to be a lone hunter. He is part of an organization, so we can have more than one character involved for the same reason, each with thier own personality type. I just figured that humans needed some representation...I think we only had one before Caine.
And if you want to add characters, go right ahead. Just stick to the three and you're in rule. Applies to all. Three approvals, and go ahead and post.
;)

Sorry for the long first post, but I wanted to set my characters personality right away. I will add the second post tommorrow.

New character

Name: Cameron Cronour
Race: Human
Height: 6'2"
Age: 32
Weight: 220 lbs
Blond hair
Blue eyes

Cameron is a man of wealth, and influence. His family was killed by a pack of what the police had called 'wild dogs,' but Cameron knew better. He now uses his wealth to hunt down their killers, and those like them. He is an above average assassin, but knows he's not the best of the Hunters. Instead, he uses his money and influence to help those that are. And, of course, he Hunts as well....

Any problems with the new guy?

My new character

Ralf Schnieder
31
6' 3"
190lbs
shoulder length white hair
deep brown, almost red eyes
has a scar that runs from his forehead down to his top lip

Ralf is a hunter but he tends to hunt alone as the others see his methods as brutal. He will use any means to hunt down his prey- even if it means using a mortal as bait. He doesn't care if they die but if he gets the vampire to do so then he considers it a worth while trade. His scar is a reminder him to never let his guard down as he did once against a vampire, gaining the scar and losing his brother in the same fight. He hunted the vampire for almost two years then staked him out on the ground and watched as the sun burnt him up, a smile on his face.

Excellent Paendragon and Angelus, now we have some more people to try and kill us all.

A reminder

The wolves and vampires are not all allies, in fact, most are more at war with each other, and among thier own kind, many wanting power, and others needing it to defend themselves against the growing factions.

And guys, the hunters look good. Since Angelus' guy tends to work alone, Paen, you think we should pair ours together? Hell, Cameron could be Caine's boss...

Good idea, QC. I like it. We'll work something out...
