i guess everyones been busy. so when should i be back and ready to roleplay some more. tommorow? monday? whenever someone posts? im just kinda impatient. its the way i am(today)

Okay OOC grades are out
Milkman stole the show and I_AM_Lust gets points as well for creativity but everyone did well.
Milkman got the MVP for a couple of reasons
1. His character was the most injured (Hellion) and used their powers the most (Feron)
2. His character advanced the plot
Oh and great writing.
Why does being injured count for him? Well he was the best a judging attacks against him in the Danger Room simulations. He was able to realize that as cheap a move as it is if X-Man targeted Julian for death there is only a remote chance he would live (Feron's magic like the web things he shot after him actually stood the best chance but ).
Vulcan and X-Man were chosen for story purposes and practice. I purposely chose characters that the X-Men should not be able to beat.
Vulcan got beaten a little more than he should have in the first simulation so that told me I made a mistake assigning him power levels.
I wanted to choose characters that would FORCE everyone to take damage.
I insist, the key to combat will be acknowledging weakness. It is why I'm so cautious about characters being too power.
As Xavier said to Danger "Aren't we all merely our limitations? If none of us had limits, what would God do with His time?"
WEAKNESSES and LIMITATIONS will be the key to this threads success because it is the only way there will actually be danger and uncertainty about the outcome.
Take Hellion as an example.
EVERY character can die and some MUST die.
I would be highly surprised if every X-Man can survive some of what is to come...
But we'll get to that soon.
For now, everyone good job!!
PS-The only people not yet approved for combat are Iceman, Specter, Jubilee, Wraith, Psycho and Gambit

Okay, the House of M/Sentinel situation is a mission offer.
These are the facts
1. Xavier is basically telling the whole meeting with Fury so any info from that post is available to every character
2. Beast is recovered (I think it has been 5 days and Elixir's power = 20 points per day) but Cyclops, Nocturne and Hellion are currently at 50.
3. If the X-Men help Nick Fury he owes them a favor.
As far as the situation in Pakistan

So that means Magik and Feron got promoted from student to X-Men.
I'm rescinding the rule that one team lead has to remain at the mansion. Professor X, Danger, Forge and Elixir count as security.
One thing though, a team lead must run the danger room (Nitecrow, Warfly doesn't have a code to end a simulation cause he can't start one! He's only a student) and Psycho, Specter, Iceman, Gambit and anyone else without passing a combat test can't go into the field.

I can tell you that EVERYTHING will have a consequence. Helping or not helping. And what you do is up to you.
Keep in mind the simulations....they include some elements that you will need.

im back!
after only 12 hours the mission is completed? maybe i should have stayed up all night. i hope i didnt slow anyone down. if its all right i may reply to any questions i was asked during the mission, just because i can. shaq, requseting your premmision to do so.

i was refering to the danger room as the mission. but i read the posts and itlooks like noone asked me questions, so im all set.

the suggustion about investigating? how does that involve me? i dont control a single official x-men. which really isnt that much to worry about, cause im not responsible for real missions.

And even though you aren't a team lead you still have some say. Iceman (What team designation would you like for him) or even Psycho can give his opinion on the matter its just the team leads who have to accept.

Okay, it was hinted toward in the first simulation but not really carried out.
In terms of missions, you can stay at the mansion and try to get more information.
The closest example of when we did that is when Beast was able to analyze the footage and see that Magneto was killed by his own powers (Vulcan). If he had been on the blackbird and flew out right away he would not have been able to analyze that data (Beast is one of the characters that gets hints, Wolverine and telepaths are too but it hasn't come up for them)
So for these mission offers you can delay accepting it and try to come up with more info.
You can pretty much do whatever you want. I'll give an example of what you could do but I wouldnt recommend. You could try to get in contact with Fury and see if there is more information. He asked the Professor to wipe his memory so doing so may compromise him though.
And the mission won't be first come first served. If more than one team lead wants to lead it then you'll have to argue on who is best suited.
EX: Beast may be well suited for both but better suited for one. Another mutant may be unsuited for both and another crisis may occur.
The big thing will be when you decide what your first "Move" will be that will count as the first decision and the first movement of time will occur. Like even if we are slow posting that won't count against the time.
"Time" will start to move in terms of the story when one of you commits to A) Stay Put B) Do something
and then you can react to what happens from there.
