Background: Graduating top of her class out of flight school Kat went directly to OTS where she progressed at record breaking speed. Awarded top honors she ignored the double edged comments and veiled insults and pushed on through flight combat training, attaining such high marks she was awarded a fighter position flying the Aurora, a new jet that surpassed even the Stealth in speed and accuracy. Working her way up the chain she gained the rank of 1st Lt, with rumors that Capt bars weren't far behind. One night while flying the Aurora with a new computer system, the entire online system crashed causing her to lose all control. She ejected at the last minute but didn't land far enough away to avoid the explosion of the jet on impact. The aftershock of fuel exploding out threw her body over 50ft where she dropped unconscious. Despite all this the Gov decided she knew too much and labeling her a liability, tried to have her killed. She escaped but not before she saw the face of the beast they sent to kill her. Having always been interested in the mystical she threw herself into the black arts, learning how to channel her inner energies and increase her senses. Now a fugitive the only thing she seeks is how to find and kill that beast that still stalks her..........
