"it's about time" Leon said to his approaching Kin. his own brother flying with Anthor and Rena. He then threw the orcs back and then scorched them with his fire magic.
It took many hurs but finnaly the battle was over. E'la dropped her sword and rushed the her husband's arms. She hugged and kisse dhim before slapping him ,"don't you ever run like that Leon.I love you no matter what." She was crying an she wrapped her arms back around him.
"E'la i'm sorry. but really what was that all about in there. wow was the dead elf, she looked terrible. I sent her spirit to the other world, she was saddened by something."
E'la looked away and shuddered. "Those thing that looked liek orcs but weren't? They were half elf. thats why we we're taken. that one you saw dead. She'd just given birth to one of those monsters."
"Yes. " She lookeda round and counted. "We're all here." the little elf girl came running up and wrapped herself around E'la's leg. "Her parents were killed in the first attack." E'la picked her up. "i don't know who would want this. The elf maiden said the Darkness. It's as if the whole of Evil is out for blood."
Eventually they grop left the Area and headed for the protected meadows of the Lady. There a camp was waiting for them Rena and Thor offered to take th eOrhphan gril who's name was Nera for the night and E'la handed her over with a soft smile. As she watched the trio walk off for a tent of thier own. turnign it was the E'la noticed LEon's wounds and made him sit while she tended to them.
"My beautiful dragon. I wish you hadn't left.I care not if you eat salads. You are beautiful to me just as our son will be."
He pulled her in close, her lips brushing his as she wrapped her arms around him. Leon loved E'la so much that he was prepared to sacrafice himself for her safty. He knew that one day she would be without him and without Rena and Anthor too. The time of the dragons was nearing it's end and he hated thikning of his E'la living alone without him, But then again E'la was only half Elf, maybe she didn't inheriate their immortality. The mere thought of E'la dying brought tears to Leon's eyes, Which E'la noticed but didn't ask about, just let them run down both their cheeks as they kissed. Leon wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her even closer. Her breasts pushing into his lower chest. How small she was, he thought to himself, how fragile she was too. No Leon couldn't bare the thought of her in danger any longer. He pulled away from her and changed into dragon form and gently picked her up with his claw.
"I'll not let you be in danger anymore." Leon roared as much to himself and to the world more so then to his E'la.
E'la looked up at her lover and husband, "Leon? What are you doing?" She trusted him with her life bt something told her that somehow he was feeling responsible for her.
Leon just kept quiet he flew off to the west to his home, How he missed he's snow caped mountians. He only hoped E'la would enjoy it. Too much had he seen and heard her in danger. He was done he only wanted her safe and out of harms way.
E'la decided she would wait to question her lover. Their bond was still strong and she could feel his feelings. It hurt a bit that he wouldn't talk to her about what he was feeling right now.
they flew into the night and E'la laid her head down on one of leons claws using it as a pillow. He looked up and watched the stars. How he just wished he could capture one for his loving E'la.
She giggled catching his stray thought. "I have the brightest star already. Your love. And the best grows within me now." She yawned softly tired form the day's adventures and toils.
Leon turned his head to regard her, how peaceful she looked, he brought his claw to his noes and gently nuzzled her so softly it felt to her like he was in human form. his keen dragon smell picked up her scent and it filled his heart and senses with a longing. Only him and her alone together.
e'la sighed. i hope he looks like you. My brother's were all rather homely even for Elves. but I think our son will favor you in looks and nature." She laughed thinking of the looks her son and husband would give her whenever she ate a salad while they enjoyed thier meat.
She smiled and wrapped her arms around him. *Leon i love you and will never be parted from you. When you leave I shall go with you. Elves can die from grief and I would be filled with it so much without you and even if i am only a half Elf I have been graced with thier immortality. So you will no have to watch me die.*
Leon's heart filled with tears of happiness. He gently sqeezed his claw tighter to give E'la a hug, which she in turn pulled his fingers into her tightly. They landed hours later outside a beautifully carved gate on the top of a high mountian.
"Welcome to my Home love." Leon said before he changed to human form and went inside.
E'la looked around as she followed. Eventually she feel behind tsaring the portraits that lined the walls. Leon's family all of them were beautiful. She had her arms wrapped around her as she moved from one dragon to the next.
Leon walked on he came to a hall where pillars of his fathers before him had been carved into the stone. E'la will like these, he thought to himself. He looked at the newest carving of his father who died only 200 years ago. "Father i have found a new bride and i am happy." Leon said to the stone as if it could talk back and then he continued his walking until he found his lounge, where two gnomes sat drinking ale. They stood at attention when they saw their lord return.
"Leon it is good to have you home." one said overly cheerily.
"Quite good sky lord." the other said.
"I brought a young woman with me, she is my wife. Ergle will you show her to her room and all of her clothes and jewels. Quitin, i want you to prepare a great feast for tonight and Quitin, make a big salad for her, she's half elf." Both Gnomes ran off carrying out their orders. Both thinking it was a good thing they cleaned the place this morning.
E'la had been surprised when the gnome called Ergle had come up and introduced himself to her. She'd been even more surprised when he showed her to her room and the things that were now hers.
he left with a bow as she ran her hands over the fine silks and stared at the glittering jewels.
