Hey Doc, long time no see. I figured we needed something to do. I Pmed Silverwolf to see if he was coming back to the thread, but prob wont hear back till the weekend. We can all use some adventure to get this troop back together. Maybe Starkynde can talk to trilla and tell her about the fish or the goats so the others can get food while Revlin is gone.

There was nothing particularly special about the gem except that it had been in the presence of the dragon for a long time and may have some hints as to the essense of the dragon *Wink* . Maybe you can do some things with the gem to help us defeat the dragon, maybe your guardian has some ideas.

Mudskippers are edible, but they taste like...well MUD! Could be worse, anyway you ARE getting pretty close to the swamp.

Do we have to kill the cute lil Red Dragon? Arc? You got the book...when they're young can you befriend them? Would it be helpful in our coming battle?

The gem can be anything that Arc posts it is. lol.

As far as befriending the red, I am not so sure. Red dragons are bad or "Evil like Fruits of the Devil", Mike Myers in So I married an Ax Murderer

i've been meaning to comment for weeks on your latest Av. i LOVE it! And the B-day treatment is sooo cool.

It kinda covers up that multi hued eye effect though. i suppose it's just for 1 day after all.

It's a good thing everyone else is gone with the food so scarce. lol

Why thanks Doc, its funny how I got this avatar. I was helping to clean out my oldest sons room and I ran across this postcard that my parents had sent him. It looked awesome, so here is the new av, lol.

We are keeping up the BDay avatar till monday so its a bday weekend lol.

True, we would have little food, but it is nice when everyone posts their characters, thats better in my book, lol.

Heh heh ... for some of the higher leveled spells in EQ you need to have a catalist. Trilla used a level 60 spell Banishment of Shadows, it requires a star ruby gem. So I improvised a little. *shrugs* I won't be using alot of the higher leveled spells cos some as just too powerful & they just don't fit in this setting.

Heh heh ... Trilla has been gathering edibable plant life for a soup or salad. I knew the books I collect would come in handy. *points to the Herb Gardening book & Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs* I think I need a edibable plant life book but whatever.

Translation of stuff ...

Chaff-berries = wild stawberries
Toadstools = mushrooms
swampweed = watercrest or something like that

As for the other fungus ... can anyone guess what they are ... very special kind ...

BTW are we out of the Dark Forest yet?

From reading the section on Dragons ... I don't think we can befriend it. Reds are bitter enemies of Silvers. Revlin was just lucky that it was in deep sleep.

i was quite excited to see the action begin. Our forces are small but we've got a lotta clout! WW pointed out (correctly i think) that this is the gravest threat to our existance yet.
