OOC: HOMEFRONT 1942 Casting Call

With the risk of being slapped, but I do need to ask to be polite, would it be okay if I introduced a character? 0-0

Thanks,
Sveta

Rebecca Hawthorne

http://www.greatamericanpinup.com/Dream.jpg

The town tease, Rebecca is the kind of bad girl that's still good. Barely 18, she lives off of her parents, and attends Dewey High School, and has quite a reputation among the students.

A mix of All-American and exotic beauty due to mixed Italian and French parentage, she has a dark blot on her past of being distantly related to a German who fought in ww1, and not to mention one of her ancestors being Japanese, just enough to give her eyes a slightly Asian look, to her dismay.
Standing a petite 5'1, her measurements are around 36c-30-38 a bit thick but still curvy and desireable.

Pretty popular, yet still lonely in this town, because of her reputation.

Considered to be a spoiled brat, a slut and suspicious because of her ancestry. Yet so many people like her, and she is a constant temptation to the men of the town, many of which would like to debauch her, having kept her virginity intact.

Rebecca just wants to finish her senior year so she can go to nursing school.

She ignores the fact that there is a war going on most of the time, or at least tries to.

Welcome to Fair Harbor, Rebecca! :D

Enjoy your sojourn with us, astralkiss! We're all looking forward to writing with you.

astralkiss...

Enjoy your vacation, but please take time to read the other posts when you return. It's important to read them to get a sense of the overall flow of Home Front. We are writing this story as a group, so that is a very significant factor to consider.

You and mr spikey have jumped further ahead in time than the rest of the story has progressed. We are at approximately 2am on Thursday night/early Friday morning, while you have advanced to 8p on Friday night. (Another reason to read what others have written before posting.)

Also, please note that there is an OOC thread for Home Front that was created to give the story line continuity. It's linked from the very first page of the main thread. Any messages or side notes should be posted there instead of on the main thread or directed to the person you wish to address by PM or IM.

Thanks,

Maid

Professor Taylor

Oops, just read the OOC and will patiently wait until 8pm, mr spikey

Or, you could just edit your posts so you can still be "in the action," and not have to wait.

Just a suggestion. :)

I hope everyone is enjoying HF.

I can't wait until the next day so I can start posting again.

Nice to have you join us, "Edward". Looking forward to playing with you.

We're back on track and always looking for new plot twists and players. Any takers?

Great post, guilty pleasure. I am glad you did join the team.

Sure I don't know you from somewhere?

;)

Did I attach it to the right thread? I hadn't realised Fair Harbour had two main streets.

Maybe I should introduce myself. My "other" name is Chloe, some may know me as that.

I am assuming the role of Claire Fournee and have just made my first post.

I have read through the thread (good one) and think I know most of the townsfolk involved but look forward to getting to know you all better.

Good writings

LOL! You mean the original thread? Yes, I can see how it can be confusing but you got the right one.

:D

Edward Taylor

New character to be added into the mix (with Maid's permission of course).

Name: Edward Taylor

Physical Attributes: A portly man with thinning hair.

Age: 48

Background:

Edward is married to Marie Taylor (played by Moneytalks) and is father to Deak (from his first marriage and played by Tibvo) and Maisy (played by Moneytalks).

A very conservative man (and even presumed to be 'boring'), he lives mainly for his work which is generally believed to be as an engineering specialist in the army which keeps him away from home. What the people of Fair Harbor (including his wife) are not aware of is that he is involved in very secret and highly sensitive projects which could have an affect on the outcome of the war. Of course, no-one must know this in case the Enemy finds out about it

Who would have thought that boring old Edward Taylor is so important? Not only to his country but to the Axis powers as well.

Having met work schedules earlier than expected, Edward has come back on a surprise visit to see his family, especially Deacon whom he still feels guilty about. He does not yet know that his son is dead, nor does he know that he and his wife have had 'relations'.

Welcome, Zehrman (again?)

Glad to have you aboard. :D

BTW: Don't whinge too much about losing 'your' posts. I seem to rememberl you took them from someone else. Just be thankful that HIM has given you a new account.
