So, it's agreed? Alternate reality-type thing? No Messiah? We have to actually do things for ourselves?

If so, I'll post my character now, and the first post of the thread tomorrow night.

Captain of the ship, Freedom (I know, corny, but I like it. This guys an idealist of sorts). Quiet man, generally. Doesn't take a vocal leadership position in Zion, he prefers to just do what needs doing. Is well respected, and known for keeping his people alive, but oddly enough, usually doesn't stay with one crew too long. He keeps the reasons for this to himself.

He picks his crew carefully, and unusually, some might say. They're usually fit together from a seemingly diverse group with no reason to work together well, yet they always do..

Sekhmet
Operator/Researcher Age: 27 From Zion

Copper skinned and dark eyed Sekhmet has a dry deadly wit and likes to play with knives. Born in Zion she has strong personal beleifs and defends them strongly.

Like her namesake Sekhmet has a destructive side and a healing side. She is loyal to her people, her vision, and her family. Her mother's sister's husband is on the council, but she never asks for favors.

Her personal beleif is that the Matrix should be used to heal the planet before releaseing the humans (so there would be someplace for them to go), and that the humans should be judged by their acts in the Matrix before being set free.

An evil soul there would be an evil soul when set free, and use up valuable resources that could be better served for the worthy and innocent. "They should be expunged like a cancer."

She is a highly impulsive person, which has had her brought up on some charges of insubornation, but her hunches have so far proved correct so she was let off lightly.

19. Just got pulled out of the Matrix a few months ago.
I won't go into his personality, I already wrote that down earlier.

It’s possible that Frost was an idealist once. It’s possible that he was moved by the strange beauty of the Matrix, and danced to songs of love in the Temple in Zion. If so, those days are long over now. When the Freedom is docked in Zion, he spends most of his time in his room, which is a completely bare gunmetal grey box. His perpetual expression is a scowl.

He’s seen and remained unimpressed by everything the Matrix has to offer, as well, and on missions he has far more interested in accomplishing the team’s goals and getting out than any kind of exploration. He’s lost all the friends he once had to the agents and is stone-cold determined that if they ever get him, he’ll take a dozen of the bastards with him.

Despite all this, Frost has a grudging kind of loyalty to Zion, the Freedom and humanity. His own attitude, curt and sullen, sometimes gives way to a more thoughtful melancholy, generally at the end of a mission, and it is then that he explains his own view of the Matrix: a slice of Hell, a place where humanity cannot endure.

In the Matrix, Frost dresses in a long white coat and mirror-shades. His hair is dyed white, with a tinge of highlighting silver-grey, and it is arranged in spikes that look like they would snap off, like icicles, in your hand. His eyes are cold blue.

This sounds like such a damn good idea that I have to be a part of it and seeming as there are no agents in this thread yet I would bring one into it.

Age: Undetermined but looks 30
Height: 6' 5"
Weight: 200lbs

Although the other agents look the same (wearing suits, ties and sunglasses) Stewart is a little different. He has been made to look like everyone else in the Matrix as in he can change the way that he looks. His favorite look is to have his hair slightly long and wearing a trenchcoat and dark sunglasses. Although he looks like one of the rebels he is unified in one thing with his fellow agents, he wants nothing more than to bring destruction to every human and destroy Zion.

Please note: As an operator my job is to watch the screens of data while my team is in the Matrix. While I may not know what you "look" like, I look for annomalys in the stream and jumps.

I may not always know what it is, or what its about, but I try to remain aware and warn my team if I feel it's odd enough.Psst, besides, I'm just kidding around with you for gosh sakes.

spyke is a very energetic lad he has survived 2 encounters with agents but he is very cautious in the matrix but he will always do what is right no matter what the odds.

I'm going to watch Matrix one tomorrow, because I think I've never seen an Operator call except on a hard line, altho they can't be called TO from a cell phone or a hard line.

This will limit my ablity to warn folks it it only works one way.

Pooh, is it ok if we say your newbie got transphered from another ship, and we were told he was fully trained? I don't think my girl would let someone they picked up run around loose until she knew she'd run him through everything. Like the woman in red, etc. (What a dirty young man Mouse was, gotta love 'im.)
