Hmmmm... ok, I don't want to squash anyone's aims - and it is a GREAT idea, SojournerWolf; however, I should point out a couple of things about the personality involved here. Wei-fong is an emotional, NOT intelligent person. She is not all that likely to understand what is going on, so may end up watching to see when the play begins (not understanding she is it). Also, she loves water (which she has now), and is very much a hedonist. Would she leave? She senses no danger - the people around her enjoy the show as soon as she feels any fear from them, as she can exude emotions onto others (as she has done in her fountain thing)....
So, I like your ideas, and it may well work for Cai/Ee-Wei/Ahn-Dao, but I'm not sure Wei-fong would see anything other than people using powers and offering a play which would make her more likely to stay. Go with it if you want, but be prepared for her acting like a relatively low-intelligence hedonist.
