OOC: Return From Madness

Not really an oddity, trench coats are a good way to keep warm, so they are semi common in reality. You all want the advantage of hiding who you are, and in fact most blue or soldiers probably want to hide who they are since people react poorly to them.

As for how shotos question of Nate knowing how to control his gear such as the contra grav boots. It falls under the same heading of why people with no experience with swords or nano tech armor can use them. I previously stated the bodies developed reflexive and instinctive knowledge. In Nate's subconscious he has been using the boots for ten years, and probably reloaded his weapon a few times, and of coarse fired it. The result is the classic balancing on a bike, you don't control it as much as do it.

Now for light armor. This is a mix between the posted heavy armor and the infantry, more or less. The armor transformed form is smaller, weaker in both power and defense. Before transformation it is like heavy armor, the weakest with the poorest reflexes, and not equipped with armor, but able to regrow lost limbs and such. Since the size of the transformed state is smaller they are equipped with the same crystal weapons infantry uses. (Remember the inertia rods are powered by brute force.) The key advantage in light armor as opposed to heavy armor is that they can stay transformed longer, the transformation requires smaller changes which in turn use less energy. As such light armor missions were those that required more punch then normal infantry had but were likely to be longer engagements.

Important Notice:

Since most blue haven't picked one of GM's 3 options yet. It is doubtful they are doing much in the way of an interesting story. So I plan to skip a week or two after the current events settle down some.

This means the lone wondering soldier may have it's own ideas on what is or did happen. Groups also are more likely and people will know their enemy is some what confused. All and all more fun. :nana:

Thanks for briefing my chara's abilities cats. Altho I would ask if I can have strong reflexes. Ez is definitely weaker than the heavy armor but has speed. But since he is armor side stronger than the infantry when transformed. This way I can have Ez have some advantage/disadvantage against the other blues.

Now as for the question for Grand's... I'm not talking about what he CAN do, its more like what Nate is saying. Some things just sound like he knows what his abilities are when he doesn't consciously. Just trying to make it flow better.

And the trench coat part, I wasn't gonna have him with one but since everyone's got one... I'm assuming it to be a part of the uniform for the blues.

If you haven't realized yet from his description, Ezhno blends in with the human very well, since his hair is mostly white and he has blue eyes to start off with. Ofcourse, when you're close to him -you'll realize from his features that he is a blue but from a distance he can be mistaken for a blue or a human.

So what is Josh and Dan doing? Are they following Nate or going their ind. ways?

Blend in with humans, well only until your looked at closely. Besides ever hear of a witch hunt?

Nate does know some things. Not a lot.

He knows he can do some things, simply because he's done them instinctually. Nate's a scout. Unlike other Blues, his skills coincide with what he's been trying to do recently: Recon his situation, and scout out possible help and food.

He's fallen back on a lot of instinct to help himself, and thus he's found a lot of abilities he has.

Otehr Blues more geared to battle might not have called up their abilities yet, because they have to fight to do so. Since Nate's abilities are more generalized and non-battle-specific, he's had a broader range to apply them too, and is thus more likely to have found them out.

That's right. Nate is a scout. Good Riddens Mr. Mage. *Grabs Grand and gives him nuggies*

Huh? This text exists to make this post long enough to work.

Well took me enough procrastinating to finally put it up. Now let's get this on the road. Just to keep everyone in mind that Ez has unspeakable fighting skills just like any other blues, however he was highly skilled with martial arts even before abduction. I'm gonna have some flashbacks with Ez to give him some depths on his profile. Since he IS a light-armor, I'm debating if he can actually grow big or just stay the same size but transform to a stronger self.

And yes... Ezhno has a sword which is NOT with him.

Quite frankly, I have no idea whether I should be able to spot what's going on or not, or how I should react. I'm waiting to see where it goes.

Are you talking about my post? You're not supposed to, that's what I was intending to do. If anything, you should be able to see me like a meteor shower or something falling to the ground in flames.

Or are you talking about you not knowing that to do next?

No, I don't mean your post which takes place elsewhere and confuses the hell out of me.

I mean with the mortals punching bags trying to kill us.

Hahaha! I like confusing people. NARF! What's confusing you?

Dude (cats), what's going on? Do you want me to post or are you jumping in?

Heh, okay you can tell I haven't done this much because I hadn't even considered replying to your post. I'm used to one or two roleplayers doing there own thing away from the group and all. So I'll write a reply.

Trust me once a plot starts going I will post a lot more. Until then I don't want to leave any one to far back.

So, then who's starting the plot? And another question...who's is the blond guy with no leg shooting at? Cause Josh ran past him and was aiming for the gun/jeep. then Dan ran past and hit it. Nate held back to lay cover fire. Blond guy should have his head popped off by a stray or even aimed shot by now...

Really, I could of sworn some one stabed him in the shoulder. SO funny thing if you don't finish him off he might not die. Truck is in the oposite direction of him, so Nate is fireing in the wrong direction, if every one is over there fighting death by accident isn't all that likely. As for aimed shot no one aimed at him. How ever your right, I missed some one running away from him, but when he was stabbed in the back he pointed that gun at the person shortly there after, he's had it up for maybe a week now. Oh well, I'll write a simple solution.

Sorry about the late warning but I forgot to write it yesterday, Tumble and I are leaveing town for 3 days so I might reply on thursday, but most likely you'll have to wait till friday.

lol, K I may have misread it also, I thought the jeep was in the same direction as the guy as from our relative starting points...but either way, I'll kill him...lol...no skin off my nose...lol
