In the beginning it seemed like a good idea to restart this thread, but it just didn't have the same allure that "The Island" had when we started writing together there. Most of us were rehashing existing characters without the momentum that pushed us on in the original thread. How many times could we survive a disaster without it becoming one? It just wasn't viable without the core writers being wholeheartedly involved.
