Freedom: The New Era
Okay, here is the new idea for the thread.
I have decided to make a new one. It is set with the same people and the situation they are in but I have decided to set it a year after the first one where they have most of their powers under control (I know they did before) but now they are a superhero team under the leadership of the scientist who brought them together but they also have a part of the team who is the team leader. If you wish to have that role then please PM me and I will let you know.
The difference with this new one is that there is now a super villain running around trying to kill them all (what super villain isn't). The group that has been trying to bring them back is still around to make things interesting but now the team has a place to hide.
To make this slightly different though I want the team (those who can) to have semi normal lives. They will live in the headquarters of the group and drop everything at the drop of a hat to help with things but they are still somewhat normal.
I thought that I would introduce the new villain now so that everyone will know who they will be up against.
Name: Ethan
Age: Undetermined
Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 185 lbs
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Green
Ability: Absorbs powers of others
Temperament: Sociopath
Ethan was the very first experiment in the group. The scientists who experimented on him did not know what they were doing and manipulated his entire body in such a way that it acts as a siphon around others. He can absorb the powers and life force of other people around him.
Because the scientists did not know what they had done to him they started to experiment on Ethan, trying to figure out what they had done to make him the way that he was so they could make the other experiments better. The experiments that they performed on Ethan drove him insane, so much so that he started not to care about the people around him.
All he wanted to do was kill the scientists who were hurting him and on the night of the escape he finally found his way to get out of there. After he killed several of the scientists by draining them of their life he disappeared into the night.
He has been roaming the country looking for any of the escaped experiments for one reason, to kill them. He thinks of himself as the first of the group, the one that everyone else has come from and they now have no reason to exist.
Ability: Able to absorb the power and ability of the closest hero to him and use it. He can amplify the power used as well but the more that he uses it the more he loses control until it is let out in a powerful blast, enough to destroy a city block. His hair goes from his usual black to white the more he uses his power and if it goes completely white then he has lost control which he looks forward to.

(he is strongest in calcium) so he can grow bones out of his body, use them as weaponds, and harden them with iron. He recently became capable of resaping his skeleton, so now he can be double jointed. His skin is tougher then normal, so it heals quickly. His skeleton is laced with iron, as well as his skull. he has been consuming more iron then usual lately, adding to his weight. His teeth can be grown and streathened. He needs to eat large amounts of protein:meat: in order to use his abilitys well. He can hold his breath for about 5 min- 6min. 6min if he's dying.
Description: He is usully in a dark black coat that covers his whole body with a light, thin suit underneath. He caries a small pack of all purpose gear in a pack snug under his coat.
Gear. He caries multi camoflauge outfits and well as some basic survival gear. He also caries some iron, calcium, and a little hi protein meat
. Other then that, just a nife and a silence pistol, with an extra clip .
Temperment: While undesturbed and focused, he is recourcefull and instinctive. He has control over his temper, and chooses when something bothers him. When he gets out of control, watch it. He wants to kill anything with a heartbeat within his reach.
History: He was a failed monster in an experiment designed to gain total control over the fluids in the body. He later found out he was supposably made to be a shapeshifter, but couldn't take the pain of the strain of body. He was raised as a monster, and trained to kill stragglers. He developed a taste for human meat, but dislikes the meat of other experiments. He is trained in survival as well as stealth. He is very bad with technology. He is trained to hunt down excapped experiments, but does whatever he pleases. Recently he has been able to settle down somewhat, and have fun hunting the agency that wants them dead

Ability: Noelani has control of water and wind. She's not sure how she does it but she knows that after those tests that were performed on her all she had to do was concentrate and she could make the wind and water do as she pleased. Along with the wind and water she has some control over the weather what with her ability to shift the winds and move the currents. She can talk to people through her mind.
Weakness: Moving large things, such as currents and shifting wind patterns, can completely knock her out. It's draining on her body but she was forced to do a lot of practicing at the facility she was trained at. So she can continuous work with water and wind and be alright but if she tried to move a lot all a once she'd be in some trouble. Another weakness is the fact that she was born mute.
Description: She is not Hawaiian. Noelani has light brown hair with deep red highlights in them. She is a pretty tan, not like a coppertone junkie, but she is outside all day long and anyone can see. She's used to it being pretty hot out so normally she is seen in a pair of shorts or capris and either just her bikini top of a small tank top. She is an athletic girl but she does have a little bit of fat in the places where it counts.
Temperament: Overall her temper is like water, she is very calm and laidback choosing to not get angry and 'freak out' but when she does lose her temper she is the force to be reckoned with. She can be unforgiving like the ocean and like a storm as quickly as her temper flares it vanishes just as so.
History: Noelani was raised in the facility and was usually well liked. the scientists liked her because her spirit wasn't broken more it was more or less like she really didn't care. Really it was because she didn't know what she could do, she didn't fight them because she needed them to trust her. Her comfort was taken into consideration because she could not tell them that she was in pain. Her being able to speak to other people through her mind is just a side effect. It was not intended but she is grateful for it.
