Very long story that starts with for most of my life I believed that marriage was forever because I pledged before God and my family that I'd be married forever. Only a couple of years ago did I realize that my happiness probably trumped the other and then she got sick. I won't leave or even discuss leaving with her until she is better. If she never gets better then ....

Secrets I think it's time you talk to someone about how you're feeling, I can't help but see a pattern of negative self image in your posts lately.

Know this, it doesn't matter why the date isn't happening. It is NOT a reflection on you as a person. A MAN DOES NOT DEFINE YOU. You are yourself, just perfectly fine on your own.

Practice mindfulness and thankfulness. I know it sounds weird but hey...i'm a religious mutt and a good part of my spirituality is rooted in Buddhist teachings.

Meditating can be very helpful. I've been doing it since high school. It helps, I PROMISE it helps. Try looking into a local class.


I dare you to go and not feel better afterwards.

There are none near me... as of right now I just honestly want to just sleep forever.

I've been there, and sometimes that just makes it worse. Get enough rest, but too much can be detrimental.

Texted the kid I'm babysitting's father, telling him his child is watching Veggie Tales on my laptop. I just got a phone call asking if Veggie Tales was appropriate. . . He's had 3 kids and has never seen Veggie Tales. . .

I know, I'm not sure how this is possible either. My S/O and I will randomly start singing songs from it. I'm sending the parents a link to an episode on YouTube, so they can see. He was very entertained during "The Song of the Cebu" and was humming it while eating his cereal.
