thank you so much for the wonderful thoughts. i'm so glad and a little surprised to see so much support, thanks everyone. everything is so hectic, on monday i hve a shitload of phone calls to make and arrangements to arrange, and some more of our stuff to go through to give away. ack. so much to do, tis really exciting though. i'm really anxious and not in such a fun way right now . there are some stipulations to get this loan that i won't be able to secure until wednesday and i';ll be unable to eat till then. lol.
i got a little aggravated on saturday because we thought we could do this w/o help from our families, and i have to have my parents pay for the inspection because the deadline for that is sooner than we can afford. ugh! oh well. we're doing this almsot completely on our own. it'll feel so good to get into this wonderful dreamhouse. we'll be eating ramen noodles for a few months till everything gets settled but tis very worth it. we have so many bills to pay off and my parents to pay back before closing that it's going to be really tight but doable. i better get back to making some food. i've got to try to eat anyway. it's amazingly stressfull and exciting at hte same time. i don't ever want to do it again. lol but once the house is all ours and we're settled in, i don't foresee us wanting to leave anytime int he next ten years at least.

thanks again, to all who have posted and/or had us in your thoughts. it really does mean a lot to us to feel so liked. my brain feels like mush lol

there are some problems with the house that we found out abuot at the inspection yesterday. when i talked to the realtor he said that hte owner has stated that he's not willing to do much or anything at all to the house, since they went down on the price. if they refuse after all possible negotiations then we can't get the loan (i'm assuming), because while the electrical problems are not major or incredibly expensive, tehy are fire hazards. fha doesn't give a loan if theres something that really needs done. i'm trying not to stress. i'm sure that it won't take much negotiating and we'll have the bad stuff fixed and the house will be ours on friday the 13th. yay!
anyway i'm feeling babbly because my head is just swimming in preparation .
when we get in we'll take lots of pics, naughty and nice. that place has so much antique beauty and charm. it has an antique doorbell, the bell needs shined up but oh my god is it cute. anyway i'm gonna frolic away in case i've got some calls trying to get through. i've wanted to be online so bad, but i've been playing phone tag every since friday and teh majority of my time has been spent staring at the phone. lol

It will be one of the best perks of moving. Where we live now it is almost completely unavailable unless we were to pay to have it installed for the entire neighborhood like that will ever happen. But the new house is very near downtown and the economical heart of G.J. So it will be very inexpensive and easily installed yaaaa

Let me offer a thought. You might consider taking it out of private negoitiations and into the public realm.

Actualy we have been making some progress in that area...but unfortunately, the owners have stated in writing that "At this price. The house is in as is condition" But I guess that after every thing is factored in, Misti has essentialy talked them down some ten thousand dollars. So I guess it is understandable that they do not wish to work with us a great deal.It is looking like we will have to offer them a tolken sum to speed the nessiscary repairs. but it shouldn't take a great deal and hopefuly we can prociede as origonaly planed as far as time frame
