I thought I would share a "laugh at me senior moment" with you.

I got a new to me car in May so I'm still learning the buttons and where everything is. On the way to work yesterday, I came up on the school zone and the crossing guard decided suddenly to stop traffic. I braked hard sending my purse and phone and coffee to the floor. Well after that my flashers were on and I could not find the switch to turn them off. Every red light I searched and played with the light switch and turn signal control. When I got to work I got the owner's manual out but nothing in there about flashers. I was just about to use my last resort and call a friend when the CD changed and I looked at the panel. Duh uh - that big ol triangle underneath the radio - right between the defroster buttons. Well guess what - you push that and the flashers go off. I guess somehow my hand hit it when I braced myself.

Ok stop laughing now - I'm a woman with impaired memory due to lots of meds and hospital - so feel sorry to me. And look out for me on the road. ;)

Won't need to look out for you .... you'll be easy to spot with those flashers going. Anyway, who's going to complain at a lady flashing? ;)

Well darlin - I must not have drawn too much attention flashing. No one asked if I needed help, honked their horn or even waved to me. I guess some gals got it and some gals don't.....;)

Thank you Titts4Tatts - I'm glad I gave you a laugh.

And I remember that crossroad. Unfortunately for me I chose the safe and convenient path and gave up happiness. Years later even knowing it was the wrong choice but not being able to do much about it now - sort of accepted things which makes me mad so many times that I've given up. I also want a real connection - friendship - someone to share the day who is not judgemental or condescending. And I like that - "not one to many but a one and only". I so miss "that" look.....

Although I'm not in this thread's age group - I, like you, enjoy seeing other women and posting my wife as well. We're 34 & 32, happily married and more than a little bit kinky (at least I am and she's being slowly corrupted :devil:)
