Kyle Hudson was growing bored with his weekly flight routine. Every Sunday night, he caught the overnight cross country flight from L.A. to New York, to meet up with some bigger clients for his company. The promotion was nice, he couldn't deny that, and the generous pay raise afforded him a very comfortable lifestyle, if only he ever had time to live it. He spent four days a week in New York, working his ass off for the clients, then had a scant three days to recharge before it was back to the grind again. His weekends seemed to be getting shorter and shorter, and the mundane routine of the long flights had started taking a toll on his sanity. Then one night, she came along. She seemed fairly ordinary at first, wearing a cream colored blouse that was buttoned just low enough to hold his gaze a moment longer, along with a black pencil skirt cut just above the knee. She looked as though she could be on a business flight just like him, but something in her warm smile told him that this flight may be more about pleasure than business. She sauntered up the aisle, about five minutes after Kyle had taken his seat and gotten comfortable next to the window. He watched as she scanned the seats, one by one, looking for her number. He felt himself tense up a bit as she came closer, then finally stopped at his row, checking the aisle seat and mouthing, "14-B" as she double checked the ticket. "This must be me," she grinned at him as she slid her purse underneath the seat in front of her and sunk into the chair next to him. He smiled back at her as she took her seat. "Maybe this flight won't be so bad after all" he thought to himself...
