I am still blown away by the level of sheer hatred for this woman.

I doubt very many people actually hate her, but I'm sure some do. Some people do hate clowns.
I think she's quite funny, in a sad sort of way.

My issues with Sarah Palin, are the same issues I have with all the self absorbed, self seeking Wingnut candidates. They are grifters, who do not give a fuck about anyone but themselves.


I have a feeling, that the majority of Republicans are sensible, clear thinking, everyday people. They are rolling their eyes at the maniacs grabbing the media spotlight. They are pained by the loss of the respect that their party once had. Their voices are not being heard. They are embarrassed by the derp that defines their party. They are well read, and comprehend completely how much was subverted.
They once had pride in their party. They have watched that party get dragged down many levels.

The majority of a party's voters don't really select the party's candidates. The primary systems try to achieve this, but the majority of party voters don't come out even for the primaries.

Yes, I know that. Deciding to not vote in the primary, so you end up with a ticket like that, is hardly something I'd call "sensible" or "clear thinking".
