I think this would be a perfect lead in for an 'angel' story like the old TV shows Touched by an Angel or Highway to Heaven. In this case the angel can assume any sex. Give them a name that works for either, like Bobby/Bobbi so the reader can follow along easier. Do it in a 'stranger comes to town and needs a job' scenario and gets a job as a private nurse. Nursing homes, drug/alcohol rehab, semi-pro sports teams, colleges, hospitals, physical therapy centers, or at-home care. Lots of options.

I like it! Though it does make me think of doing it as a parody: same emotional beats, big emotional climax…and then MC whips their dick out
